That is a good idea Mike for motivations. I saw half of your video, this is exactly what I am looking for. Living in third world countries where people does not have acces to civil rights such as labor or housing or absolute povertry , than is better that you invest outside insted to lose time in a country where povertry is the main language.
All you guys are too ignorant and naive to understand it is not so simple as how you guys have been taught about FDI In order to be able to understand the positive and the negative of Foreign investment, it requires very good knowledge of both macro-economics and global politics, but not so simple as how all ignorant economists and professors of economics say at schools of business and economics Almost everyone an see only the immediate benefits of foreign investment , such as more employment the local working class, more economic growth , and none can see the negative in the long term which is the danger of dependency or reliance on foreign supplies and in today's so much different and complicatec world, it can be said that it is a new way of acceptable annexing any country without any sort of physical military invasion investing in other countries. It is similar to buying a country with capitalist investment and becoming the real owner of that country and all its people
The term-of-art (however awkward or grammatically suspect) is foreign direct investment, at least among US economists. I would recommend that construction in a professional setting. Economists are not known for their poetry. :-)
LOL! He got so self-conscious explaining 'low labour cost'... didn't want to say that MNCs can pay lower salaries in poorer countries! I Guess he is American himself so didn't want to accept the exploitation. He didn't have to say 'it doesn't just mean lower salaries'..'low salaries will mean lower motivation so that doesn't' work blah blah...funny!
God knows this is a very good starting point when learning about FDI. Now all I need are Caribbean examples. Thank you

+Alan Natale and thanks for the video! =)
+Alan Natale why are you replying yourself?!
The phrase "foreign direct investment" is flawed. "Direct foreign investments" is dramatically-superior and grammatically-correct.
