Somehow you just happened to have all those parts that fit together perfectly on the two shafts that moved and mated where needed. It's as though it already was a gearbox in its previous form, akin to engineering plagerism - LOL.
I could not agree more. The welds on the clamp are a warning. And yes,they are his welds because the welds he does on this vid are as crappy as the welds on the clamp.
So I'm with you. Dude took a small Japanese bike trans and just replaced the side-plates holding the gears! What he isn't saying is that on the motorcycle engine the gears are in an oil bath. He should have left it in the gearcase,this is a bunch of work just to run a trans dry.
Alot of these guys are fake. Wierd how a box of random part perfectly fits together like this...

@@lukethomson7361 It is a bit, not gonna lie. Its still a really cool thing to just have all the parts laying around to make, But at the same time, I get a little jealous of the people that seem to have boxes upon boxes of spare parts like that that they can use to build stuff.

@lukethomson7361 it is sarcasm, this guy literally took a good transmission and just rebuilt a rudimentary skeletonized case to show how it works... he's fooling viewers into thinking it's random spare parts.

Μπράβο πολυ έξυπνη ιδέα, αλλά καθόλου λειτουργικό. Οι τριβεις ρουλεμαν δεν συγκολουνται και σε περιπου 2 ώρες λειτουργίας δεν θα αντέξει τίποτα!

I, as a mechanical engineer, can say that the project itself is not bad. but when I see the bearings welded it takes me badly ....!

@@JIRAIYA_H4X even though there is a pipe on the bearing😅as a mechanical engineer myself😅😅when you bring bearing near to the heat it will loose its temper which will make the bearing loose its properties very soon😅hame esse hei sikhaya hei😊tat is why there are different types of bearings available...
I see that all the time on projects.
I always comment how the heat would destroy the bearings.!

Нечто подобное мы мальчишки в детстве делали со старшеклассниками . Ставили два велосипеда типа " зайчик " , " левушка " паралельно , сваривали раму , спаривали рулевое управление , ставили двигатель Д6 и делали такую коробку . Ездили не плохо но шум был большой .

99.5% of people do not have all of the spare gears, rods, shift levers, etc on hand and would have to source out everything. Raising the cost of construction to an insane level
