I attempted to do this with my husband's ex-wife since I met him well after their divorce.. But she wanted trouble and drama. This only works when the ex is content and happy, like Babyface. If the ex is miserable and bitter, it's a no-go.

I think the underlying issue is she's not happy & doesn't want peace. The best one can do in those cases is to move on. So I left her sitting in 2014 when she stated she was done with the "nice act".
