I have worked as a medical case manager for more than 40 years. I met with so many men who I have experienced abuse from women. They are either not believed or seen as weak because they don't fight back. I remember the news report about the incident that took place at his home in Dallas. I remember that he did not receive a lot of support. But if he did that to his ex-wife there would have been an outpouring of support for her. There is definitely a double standard when it comes to how men and women who experience abuse are treated. I say whatever he needs to do to protect his mental, physical, and spiritual health he should do it!
