What software do I use for video editing: Free edition of Davinci Resolve
What camera presets/software do I use: I manually create my camera presets/views. I use the default camera systems for both simulators. On X-Plane, I use A-Better-Camera plugin specifically for airports that have bad tower views.

Am I a real-world pilot: No, not even in my dreams.
Do I have any real-world aviation experience: No
Do I plan to get a pilot's license: No
Which sim do I prefer: The one that is most suitable for the flight I want to do, considering the availability and quality of the addons. I love MSFS2020's visuals and X-Plane's aircraft handling. I am looking forward to MSFS2024 with the hope that it has the best of both worlds.
Do I know what I'm doing: Probably not
Do I welcome feedback: Constructive feedback is welcome, but remember that my combination of flight simulation software and hardware will never match the real thing. I can only be as good as the tools I'm using. I also don't aim for full immersion or accuracy and will forego some things for convenience. My real-world profession (software development) is demanding enough for me therefore I will always use flight sims for entertainment/relaxation rather than for aviation proficiency. I'm also dumber than the average human and have a few disorders that make things a little harder. That being said, many thanks go to the people who have tried to help me fly better. I may not always be able to follow the advice depending on the effort needed to apply it, but I try where possible.

An update was released that fixes the cockpit freezing problem. If only I had checked if there's an update while troubleshooting the problem. 🤦♂

I recommend Newsky. Its a flight logger just like volanta but you need to fly for an specific aurline (custom aurlines) or just create one. There is also an option in case if the sim crashes that can teleport you to the latest saved position, so the only thing that would need to be done is to set up the aircraft. Of course, it may not all be perfect there but i would really recommend to try it if you haven’t already.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am considering just ditching flight tracking altogether for simplicity and using FSUIPC for autosave. I've used multiple flight trackers and they all seem to come with a set of drawbacks.
