@@bravo77whiskey WHAT?! Really?! Im still in Xp11 and have barely tried Xp12 (I have it installed). I might not understand how Xplane works with seasonal variation then. I have noticed that when I land in a snow storm in Xp11, the ground will have snow textures, but not in clear weather. Thats my experience at least. Do the snow textures remain during winter time in clear weather? That 764 looks great. I already have the 757/763 from FF with FTSim sound packs. Was it default sound in the video or do you use a sound pack addon?

@@MrGyngve yes. X-Plane 12 comes with winter textures and even seasonal trees by default. The snow depends on the weather data. If you use live weather the snow should be in the sim if it's there in real life and vice versa. With custom weather you can set snowy conditions and the snow will show up. I can't remember if I was using FTSim sound pack on this video but I think I was.

@@bravo77whiskey Back in pre-covid, it's usually wide bodies actually. So it's a fun 1 hour wide body flight. Back then, it's either 777-200ER, A300-600 or even 747-400. Then when those retired. They replaced them with A350 and 787 that just arrived in their fleet, they fly this flight for practice for a bit before they forever send them to international flights. Then Covid hits, TG then ceased this route for couple of years. Then when it's back. 95% of the time, it is A320. But on rare occasion, they either use 777-200ER, 787-8 or A350-900. It's a treat when they appear. I'm an engine sound enthusiast, so I'd recognize these plane immediately just by their distinctive sound. Also, Thai royal airforce still has their A340-500, which is pretty much an extinct A340 variant. But I got to see it fly here out of all places. Insane.

Because it's not required. I do so only when I am sure the airline I'm flying requires to do so.

There will be more when the V2 releases however far away it is. There's way too many better aircraft to fly at the moment.

@@airrd it's missing some functions like fixes. The default sounds are not great and the sound pack I use has problems. There's more little things that I can't remember off head. The addon could use visual upgrades. It's a really old addon to be fair.

@@bravo77whiskey yeah me too, I like the landing effect when the aircraft touch the ground, is really immersive, sometimes smooth, sometimes hard XD

@@gefex6818 I usually have it enabled with a very low setting though I don't think I have enabled it at least for the Fenix. I never noticed this until you mentioned it. I'll look into it on my next flight.

@@bravo77whiskey sounds good man, i have to confess, some features of FSRealistic is too much sometimes. but some effects like, the landing sound and shake, the spoilers sound and brakes, are very immersive. i really enjoyed these features, the passengers cabin sounds is good too

Also the shutdown procedure was perfectly fine lol. Some people usually like to check the mags (keys) one last time to make sure they're grounded properly, but it's totally optional. The beacon light usually stays on, fuel shut off valve is usually in, and the selector is usually switched to the left. But like I said, all totally optional

No. That's the E190 E2. This is the older E190.

I made the choice to not have it. I prefer not having it. I assess my landings after finishing flights and I don't base them fully on landing rates only.

@@captnolan737 that was the first touch down before the go around. It was a slammer and I refused to end the flight like that.

With the Zibo I use lower autobrake settings for long runways where I vacate further down. With the PMDG I always use autobrake 3.
