I’ve been on a Turbo Killer binge of sorts, just trying to find good videos with it, specifically with games that actually fit the kind of song it is. I would’ve said the Wolfenstein Youngblood story trailer, or maybe a Hotline Miami 2 video I found. But this has the perfect mix of cinematics and gameplay. (And I do appreciate the attempts to line up some of the kills with the music.) Amazing work, a shame it hasn’t cracked 1k views yet after over a year.
The aesthetics of the setting, the one-man army feel, the integral use of vertical surfaces to traverse the world, the feelings the music invoke and the fact that the tools of the trade are your trusty katana and shurikens. It fits so well
