Putting this out there: I've never played the game, partly because my smart fridge cannot run it. My expectations led to my eventual disappointment. I expected more Furi and less Portal boss fights tbh. Not the game's fault, obviously (it's called Ghostrunner not ghostcutter). But dammit it would be neat to have us slice and dice these mofos as much as we run. HEL fight was the closest thing I have in mind tho so that's nice.

HEL battle is stylish AF, and I don't care what anyone else says about it. Also, that final boss battle is very clearly inspired by Furi's The Star. I also wonder if anyone else remembers Remember Me (lol), and sees the similarity between the stories of both.

Hey Gellot, I've always wondered. How do you find all these games and then decide which one you're going to play next? A lot of them seem pretty interesting.
With bigger games I just follow gaming sites and watch some streamers play. I occasionally check what's new on Steam, plus I get suggestions from comments. Sometimes developers send me keys to their games to play. There's always a lot of new games to choose and I just pick whatever I think would be entertaining to watch.
@uganda knuckles I think it's backwards. For third person games, you play as a character. You don't save Ciri in Witcher 3, Geralt does. On the other hand, they may assign you a certain name in First person games, but you don't even see the face of the character for the most part, so it makes you self insert in the story.

Just finished the game myself. Man the Mara fight was so dogshit, what a letdown. Also the transition to destroying the architect lacked in execution. Overall fun game tho, 7.5/10.

The last run for the Architect is an absolute platformer NIGHTMARE. My hands are in pain. I hate this game and I loved every minute of it.
