We ain’t stopped spending or loaning yet .. stansfeild 6 m and a few loans from Tottenham . And if we are there or just about at Xmas there is the January transfer window to push us on .. this isn’t going to be easy there still some great teams in this league but hopefully we can get back up . As a Wrexham fan , I'd take 7th right now if offered. As you say, we need some consolidation off the pitch before hopefully pushing on,on it.

bolton fan. hope you are right on automatics. tough league with strong clubs up from league 2 and teams like wigan, reading, blackpool, charlton looking stronger than last year.

Nice to see someone who doesn’t think that Stevenage will drop off massively after losing a manager who ended up falling out with a load of the players, and retaining 95% of our key players
Exeter 22nd!? Ballsy prediction. Millenic Alli finished last season and has started pre season looking 🔥 up top. Demi Mitchell was arguably our player of the season until injured in November. He’s extended. Ryan Woods on a permanent deal is a hell of a coup too. So classy.
We’ve added quality all over the pitch with other signings and I can see us surviving comfortably.
I’m having from the comments that mine is an unpopular opinion! 😂 I worry that Alli is a confidence player but hey… if that confidence carries you through a positive campaign then who cares?? I hope you guys are right though, it would be a shame to see them go down!
I’ve put a fiver on the Posh winning the league, and another fiver on them being promoted; so we’ll probably lose in the play-off final. I think Crawley and Leyton Orient are more likely to get relegated than Reading and Exeter. As for automatic promotion, I think Bolton and (shock horror) Rotherham (the Steve Evans/Clarke-Harris combo)
will go up. and Posh, Brum, or Huddersfield will win the play-offs. Seventh for Wrexham is also my prediction.

I went last season to watch them in the efl cup and it’s a lovely ground! I won’t rule it out though and I’ll be keeping my eye on them!

You haven’t done your homework on Exeter they have some really good youngsters mixed with some internationals. I predict top 10. Reading will not go down either but finish middle tableCrawley have not invested at all and will go down along with Burton.

Interesting!! I went to see them once last season and tried to keep up with their highlights where I could, but I can’t say I’m a devout follower. We’ll see but with the takeover looking more and more likely, I’ve got more faith in them staying up! Just a bit worrying that it’s taking so long!

Fair play for predictions they are never easy and you can't please everyone lol 😂
If you think this is a pub league it shows how little you know about English football. It's extremely competitive all the way down to the 5th tier, and anyone can beat anyone on their day. There are numerous Prem/Championship level clubs who find themselves down here and struggle for years to get back out. Bolton and Charlton for example. No reason Birmingham and Huddersfield won't find it a challenge.
Any one could beat any one on their day, then Birmingham arrived……
@@thechubbytiger5492 Birmingham will lose football matches this season, particularly away from home. There are a lot of tough places to go. Honestly, the money they've spent will only get them so far, it's still 11 human beings.

It's very presumptuous and cocky to assume there are already 69 points in the bag, and this complacency is exactly why they'll lose more than you expect. @TFHipster First it's fair to say. Cambridge Gary Monk has done a great job since the short spell indeed beating Barnsley away an wigan at home as a Cambridge fan an the recent signings give us a real sense of belief yes we may have struggled but we find a way. Your comments on P'boro weren't lost on me neither but play offs this time may prove a stretch. My bottom 4 in no particular order Crawley, Mansfield, Stevenage an Burton. I do agree with your top prediction The blue noses are heading back to the top! But I still think Lincoln, Huddersfield,Charlton an Bolton all in the play offs. Runners up it's a shock to most but if your red all over then you'll know who I'm talking about yes it Barnsley! Too those who I have mentioned up or down. Nothing personal an good luck to everyone.

I think they CAN stay up, but I genuinely think it’ll be a struggle. I just don’t think their squad is as strong as those around them. If we see the likelihood of Crawley struggle this season, and Burton’s project not work out then there’s a lot of possibility for Exeter to finish much higher. But I think they’ll get sucked into a relegation fight and one that I don’t think they’ll win. Like I said, I’m happy to be proven wrong, especially for a club like Exeter. Where d’you think they’ll finish though?

Big clubs tend to have lingered awhile in the league, so don’t be surprised if Birmingham and Huddersfield fail to go up.
@rafd3593 most of the big clubs who came down were in a complete mess off the pitch, this is no longer the case at Brum, I know you can spend as much money as you want and it does not guarantee success, time will tell I suppose I'm looking forward to the season instead of the usual dread 😉

It’s more competitive than you think!! But yes, they should absolutely piss it with the squad and money they’ve got 😂 Huddersfield I’m less sure of than the blues but time will tell!
@@TFHipster I definitely agree it's a hard to get out of ,but it's just such a crappy league to be in, kick n rush and not great skill,some crappy little grounds,it's just shite being down there.Everybodys interested in the championship, nobody is that interested in the lower league stuff,and yes I've been down there with my team 12yrs ago it was awful.
I hear what you’re saying mate! My dad’s a Leeds fan, and one of my best mates is Sunderland so a couple more recent examples with frustrations in this league! I’ve found myself falling in love with the efl over the last few seasons and although the quality of football varies massively from the championship, through to league 2, it’s so entertaining!
