just found you guys ill defo be having a good season with your podcast enjoyed your pre-seasone poadcast roll on this weekend cant wait for football again.
Tipping Watford to go down, despite the chaos, is bold. They've still got the bones of a good squad that should be better than at least three of the teams at the bottom. I'd say lower mid-table for them
like you guys but this really is for the aficionados as I am in my 8th decade and first attended Millwall on 3 September 1962 when we neat Hull City 5/1., so as time is precious,I can only justify 25 minutes for the whole division, not twice that time for a Third of it:)"Worried about Millwall Right Back?" Ryan Leonard(admittedly now 32 years old) was, virtually, unanimously, voted our Player Of The Season last year. Millwall was top of The Last 12 chart ending with 5 wins and in the 3 previous years we. narrowly, lost out on the PlayOffs and this is a better squad so we will see.
Dont hate our prediction (Millwall)... Neil Harris did get Cardiff to the playoffs.... and got ourselves close to the playoffs. Feel like he got some unfair stick there. We'll comfortably finish 11th-18th this season. Defence good enough to keep us up to carve out results. If Tom Bradshaw & Zian Flemming stay fit then we'll do well. Bradshaw is a decent Championship striker.
Interesting predictions gents! My 3 to go down as it stands are Oxford, Blackburn and Plymouth, but so much can change in the transfer window between then and now. Wasnt aware of thr chaos at Watford. Would be mad if they went down. For similar intangible reasons i think Derby will be just fine too.
As a Blackburn fan I would have agreed with you before last week but we've made some strong experienced signings and I think we'll actually be pushing top half now.
@@samuelstaunton-gill9572 I hope so! Definitely got nothing against Blackburn was more based on struggles last season and likelihood of top scorer moving on. Best of luck for the season
I'm a life-time Pompey fan, but I'm struggling to understand how we haven't featured in this part! Our signings haven't exactly blow anyone away, gambling heavily on unproven talent, and our pre-season has been a disaster. Sadly relegation is a real threat, I'll take a 21st position finish gladly at the moment.
Duncan McGuire might be one of those players who flatter to deceive. He's got 7 goals in 19 in MLS, almost 1 goal per 2 full 90 min, but looked shit in the olympics and the Yanks 11 channel dont rate him at all. If Rovers splurge on him now after selling Sammie S, they might be relegation bound. Dont think their team is that bad tho, but there is a potential for a negative cycle developing. Plymouth are done imo tho, so just gotta beat 2 other teams for a chair up.
the thing is with Plymouth, is they have a bad manager and a good side, and I think that a bad manager with a good team is better than a good manager with a bad team. I think they will just survive like last season, but it is a tough one to call.
Argyle side is unbalanced when it comes to talent. Mike Cooper, Morgan Whittaker, and Bali Mumba are good players, others not so much, or maybe im just ignorant on their quality. But thats what it looked like to me last season. Also they lost Ashley Phillips back to Spurs. Looked a real talent to me. Finn Azaz transfer is still felt deeply. He created so many chances, and it's no surprise the form of Whittaker dropped off after his departure.
@@pahakuutti I watched them in a friendly on Saturday against MK Dons and it loooked like Ryan Hardie was playing well, along with our backup/rotation keeper Conor Hazard. Nathaniel Ogbeta looked very good as well.
@@pahakuutti Certainly true on Azaz, but some of the new signings look good. Keen to see Cissoko and Whittaker out wide, I do think these could be a nice balance. Still need that creative CAM though.
Ryan you said you were concerned about the Millwall right back position? Ryan lennard is our right back and comfortably won the fans player of the season award and I would put him in top 5 right backs in league last season. He was absolutely outstanding last season!!!

Oxford player was Josh Murphy, not Jacob (his twin)

Would love if you guys started including chapters with timestamps.

How do you spend 50 minutes on 8 positions?

2 more over seas signings imminent for Championship specialist Preston

West Brom now too with the efl sanctions could be in trouble
They don’t affect too much. Can still sign players. They haven’t imposed any sanctions yet. With Corberan they’ll still challenge up there I think.
24th? You're in cuckoo land! 24th...
Nice shirts btw.
As expected your Watford prediction is not even close. In fact the prediction is ageing worse every week.
Orange?! i am a man and i would call that salmon colored, nice podcast though gents.
My team Coventry, should be our best season in 20+ years. Much better squad depth now & plenty of goals in this team.
I reckon Haji Wright is really gonna tear it up this season
1966/67 Coventry in S E London where they won the league and I saw them at Millwall,Charlton and Palace/ So where have the last 57 years gone? lol
Bristol 9take that👊💯💪🤣
We're doomed 🤪
