Great video, I’ll be listening to all of these.
I had family members in the table top hobby and they were disturbed by how fascinated I was by Nurgle. I can’t even explain it the aesthetic and vibe or Nurgle was always sturdy and confident, also green is just cool.
I really enjoyed Kugath before the rework and am now exploring the other lords post-rework. In pleased with the faction and I feel they are appropriately represented in the game. Plagues, tough, tough units, great magic, and the replenishment mechanic often forcing you to fight entires wars with units at half strength are extremely thematic. Your army is always half decomposed and yet impossible to actually finish off. It’s so Nurgle! Lolol
Thanks for continuing to make videos, I’ve really enjoyed your content over the years.

Il need to give em a shot. Ive rarely played any of the daemon factions and even warriors of chaos only a few times. I always feel odd about faction without some decent missile power. Probably going back to tabletop days.

they really dont have any missiles and play similar to vampire counts but different

Nurgle is really fun! As described slow economicslly in the beginningbut very hard to beat in a fight. Do not play as Tamurkhan imo!! He is not a fleshed out character when it comes to his faction mechanics and is just akward to play.
You'll end up with chais dawii, beastmen, norsca, and a whole bunch of heroes that don't feel natural to use when it comes to a nurgle based fsction

I kept getting bullied nonstop by the dwarves, who steam roll everyone, on my first kugath playthrough. I beat that Karan kins tough armies back in a long war, and when i finally got his last one down and was about to move in and take all his settlements, he confederated and they all switched to the other dwarf who declared war on me soon later..😢. Eventually, I rolled back a save before the orcs declared war on me and gifted them the Shambles settlement. They loved it so much that they gave me 40k gold and became my vassal lol. They steam rolled everyone who declared war on me from then on. Was funny, but felt cheap. Yet, i reaaaaaally got pissed off by the dwarves.

I'll give these guys or the other demon nurgle LLC a try.
I tried Tamurkhan out the other day....
Idk man, the way they made that character is not fleashed out well. Instead of playing a nurgle based game. You end up playing a little bit of each of his cheiften based race faction. Which ends up wierd and clunky having a few chaos dwarf units with beastmen...
Kugath seems like a more traditionally based nurgle campaign.
With Tamurkhan, you aren't even incentivived to use demonic units 😅 They give you bonuses to use non-demon units which made his roster super boring to play with

Yeah tamurkhan is a very odd gameplay style. More warriors of chaos than nurgle

@LordForwind The good news is your videos were really good 👍🏾I almost lost hope after playing Tamurkhan, thinking all of Nurgle was just boring and layered awkwardly.
I was wrong and you are right. Nurgle is really fun. As long as you're playing as one of the njrgle demon characters though!!
Tamurkhan using the non-demon units as CA intend you to do. Without the warriors of chaos mechanics just make Tamurkhan really clunky and akward.
Summarize, Nurgle really fun post 5.0 update. Tamurkhan needs some work already 😅

I actually really like the combined arms approach that Tamurkhan's chieftains give his faction. Problem is, they want a different army/battle strategy for each of them. And that gets expensive fast with Nurgle.

I like it, the optional units are just extra optional flavor. With Nurgle you are always going to have a variety of units anyways because of the way recruitment works. I’m fielding plenty of demons. The boost to humans warriors makes his army resemble a more classic tabletop Nurgle army. And the chieftain mechanic is cool, makes him feel like a real rival to Archaon rising beyond the mountains. I love it.
