# Dimash is really reflective here. The lyrics are interesting. He's expressing appreciation for success and support thus far, but there is also a plea here. He's also carrying the huge pressures of others expectations. Many place him up on crazy high pedestals of 'perfection'. It's true that Dimash himself is a perfectionist about his craft. He leaves no stone unturned to maximise the development and maintenance of his instrument. Whether it's swimming to expand / maintain his lung capacity, or martial arts for core body strength, of hours of daily vocal exercises. He has said he does at least 3 hours of these a day, but those around him say he never STOPS singing, humming, creating. Probably also in his sleep! { I haven't gotten my calculator out, but I think we're WAY over your 10,000 hours! If you count from age 5 to now 29! 🤔😵💫}
Dimash carries the support, but also the weight of the expectations of his adoring fans and we know all about the burdens that can come with this level of Celebrity, but Dimash carries more than most. He is ALSO the most internationally prominent Kazakh citizen that the country has ever had, and he has the honour, {and weight - I imagine} of being a very significant Cultural Ambassador. Where is the 'wriggle room' here to 'mess up'? To make mistakes or to challenge expectations? He talks of losing friends along the way, and asks; where will 'The Dove of Happiness land? He asks; "Will I be forgiven? {if I fall}." I think he's now moving into new career directions - some of which might be unexpected. Whatever he does, it is in the glare of many spotlights.
My thoughts exactly...I'm surprised that so few people talk about that potent fear along with gratitude in his lyrics.
When I heard this song, I too almost cried because of it. So far, his career has been going on an upward trajectory, and in some sense I have been dreading when the other shoe is going to drop...because it is life! And Dimash seems extremely aware of this. The man has immense pressure resting on his shoulders. This song felt like a prayer.

I like the video but I actually prefer to listen to the uploaded version in Spotify (and other platforms) without the background sound and just bask in the velvet voice.
