This is the most impressive laid back guitar playing I have ever seen. Most guitarists would be sweating and working hard to hit some of those notes but dude you are chill as hell rocking that guitar. You are a true guitar hero man! Keep it up. I'll be adding this video to my favorites.

I like that you didn't just play one type of genre in this video, you covered many more techniques with this than you would've with one style. Beyond that, this is amazing simply as a piece of music, beautifully done.

I don't know about anyone else, but the one hand tapping part, two hand tapping, sweep picking, and the part where the caption says, "... Abort... Critical Error... Malfunction... Warning... Shut Down Your Device... OVERHEATED". I could not stop cracking up, it was so awesome that I was laughing so hard, I almost pissed myself. Excellent, fantastic, absolutely freaking badass, and extraordinarily mind blowing. Amazing dude! =)

    1. Economy picking
    2. Slide guitar
    3. 8 finger tapping (both hands over the top of the neck, watch herman li or synyster gates master class solo)
    4. Divebomb
    5. Killswitch
    6. That thing where you strum all the strings but they're all muted except for one, it sounds cool
    7. Bending behind the nut
    8. Amp feedback
    9. Sweep up - tap - sweep down
    10. Tap the pickups with your pick
    11. Thumb over the top to mute or play a note
    12. Tap with pick
    13. Neck bending
    14. Hammer on and pull off constantly, but between fret and open e.g. unholy confessions end riff, watch it live to see
    15. Lick the strings
I didn't do this to say 'oh yeah, 40 isn't enough' or 'you're shit' or whatever, I just thought of a few that I wanted to mention. In fact, you're one of the best guitarists I've ever seen.
    Bonus:
    17. Burn your guitar on stage

IMO sweeps aren't even worth the time to learn. Its a cool technique, but whenever they're in a song for more than a few seconds it quickly gets boring.
I'll Paypal $10 to whoever can name a truly classic song with more than a few seconds of sweeps. And don't say Children of Bodom or some dumb shit like that.

HOW CAN 972 NOT LIKE THIS EPIC LESSON!? BTW ANYONE KNOW HOW HE CAN ACHIVE THAT NICE SUSTAINING SOUND. I DO'T MEAN PLAYING WISE. I THINK I KNOW THAT. LIKE WHAT KIND OF GEAR/EFFECTS HE'S USING?

    • @gmcguitar
      @gmcguitar  9 лет назад +1

Marugeist Nivelo Hi Marugeist - check out this full lesson which features listing of gear used by Sinisa in this video: www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/40-Techniques-Solo/ ....Sustain is usually a combination of technique with well setup guitar. Technique wise it is important to keep the right amount of pressure on the vibrating string and not touch the vibrating string in any way unintentionally after it has been picked as that will stop the vibration and note will loose sustain. Sometimes it is also needed to add a bit of vibrato to notes in order to keep the sustain. Effects wise, a bit of gain (overdrive/distortion) certainly helps keep the notes ringing longer. --Bogdan

    G.Howe style vibrato (4:14)??????
Really? George Lynch invented that technique......Greg Howe himself credits Lynch.

And Lynch credits me, he came around to my place and we jammed til the wee wee hours of the morning. He also showed me how to play 100 riffs in 10 years. And... he pinched my pleccy.

you really had to break vibrato into 4 types to reach 40 techniques huh?

steve smithson That was the only way to get there! Either that or adding "motorcycle" and "bird" sounds to the mix :))) --Bogdan

Nieminen666 u have bad opinion about that... See some people have a talnet for rhythm (groove) instruments, like drums,bas,congas... Some have for melody... Like guitar, piano and other instruments... I play guitar, bass guitar and drums... And im better drummer then my bro,who play drums 10y,and i play them 2y... Also im better bass player then guitar player, rhythm (groove) is for me,not melodic. But that doesn`t mean that im bad guitarist... Bass guitar is hard like guitar, not less... If u want to play perfect bass, like Victor Wooten,or like this guy Sinisa plays guitar.
