    Has anyone else out there used the Cirrus Flex 2.0? If so, what did you think of it; if not, what is your preferred choice?

    I love it, my go-to jacket for 3 seasons

      Yeah, it's just a great, comfortable all-rounder. Odd re-watching it now, because it really was freezing the day we filmed this video, and today it's a heatwave 😄

    Is it good for winter season in UK? Its very thin and light weigh, just wanted to check whether it will be useful in winter.

      It is, but it depends on exactly what you’re looking to do with it. It’s an active piece, so if you keep moving - and have adequate layers on underneath - then you’ll be fine. If you stop you’ll likely want something warmer.

    Looking at these jackets now for my walking, very informative thankyou. May I ask what size you wore in the video for reference?

      I'm wearing a medium. The Cirrux Flex is pretty accurately sized I'd say, so go with whatever size you tend to wear normally and it should (at least in theory) fit. Good luck!

      It's a Men's Medium. I'm around 180cm tall and 80ish kg. Hope that's of help!

    Hi there! Do you think it’s durable enough to carry 13-15 kg rucksack?

      Something else,for 0 Celsius underneath you think,100gsm fleece is enough?

    • @ukclimbingofficial
      @ukclimbingofficial  Год назад +1

      There’s a great many factors involved in layering, so this is a very hard question to answer. Variables include how windy it is, how dry/wet the cold is, and what you’re doing with it - whether or not you’re stationary or moving, then how fast you’re actually moving.

      @@Michalis_Karakostas Again, it all depends on what you're doing and what the weather is like. On a cool, crisp day you could probably get away with quite a thin base layer underneath - particularly if you keep moving. On a slightly wilder day, when you're stopping/starting, a 100gsm fleece would be a better option. It's hard to give an exact answer as there's a lot of variables involved. The good news is that after a bit of use you'll soon get to grips with what works and what doesn't.
