I would advise yall to go back and listen to LL's first 3 albums...he was a lyrical beast, check out You'll Rock and can't live without my radio...but You'll Rock remember he was only 16-17 when it was made and if u really know abt being lyrical LL is ahead by a slim margin...at that time but I'm not taking one thing away from Kane, the man is top flight no matter who he's up against

I know Treach then said "both" but he said LL first and Ludacris CLEARLY picked LL. 🤷🏽‍♂️ either way Kane won the votes there 5 to 4....my pick is LL without question. I love Kane but LL was so much more versatile and that is what I appreciate and hold high in my MC qualities.

I might put Kane above Cool J. lyrically, but Uncle L. was that Terminator assembly line B-Boy Battle M.C. that every young dark and light-skinned brotha wanted to be!!! I was lucky enough to see Kane be one of the acts to warm it up for L. on the Nitro Tour in St. Louis in '89..or was it '90? It's all a blur!!
THIS should have been the Versus...not Kane vs. KRS-One. This would have been more fitting - both are battle rappers, both have that sex appeal with the ladies. Both had their respective show D.J.s in Mister Cee and Cut Creator! They dropped the ball on that one!
