40 years ago I lived in the Palm Springs area from January to April. Very dry desert area, Almost cold nights, days are warm during winter. In April temperatures started to grow up to 105F. Summers are dry and hot up to 110F. Place is ideal for winter vacation.
I would love to spend a spring or summer there and be able to go inside all of these beautiful houses. I would have loved to have been able to spend time there back in the 60's and 70's. I love that era. I wouldn't want to bother any of the stars, but I'd loved to been invited to some of the parties they had back in the 60's and 70's. 🌵🌴🌴🌴🌺🌺🌺❤ It's beautiful there.
Salvador Dali must have created this. I've of course heard of Palm Springs & must have seen a few shots of it, but this is mesmerizing! Thank you for this Absolute Treat!
From what I read about Palm Springs: It's the result of the hot summers, single-story structures closer to the cool earth are idea land makes it easier to cool in the hot summers. Flat roofs with long overhangs aid in shading the home and outdoor living spaces.

Aside from just being representative of typical mid-century California ranch house design, there's usually sliding glass doors beneath an overhang in the rear of these houses. Also, the sunlight of a Western exposure can be unforgiving here.
You can't even see most of the houses, they're blocked by a wall, and you certainly can't see the other 3 sides of the houses or the roof, so you have no idea how much light they get.
I like water. So do our bodies and 99% of plants and trees. This is so unattractive; boring, all the same, very little originality. I would never choose to live there.
Don't listen to the haters, I love these types of videos, they take you all over the world at your fingertips.
Its like going back in time looking at these homes.
great applause for the landscape designers and gardeners for these amazing work
Gravel lawns. Easy to mow.

I can't deal with hot weather, so it wouldn't be for me, in the summer.
Too hot of temperatures for me that you mentioned.
I love it there in Summer😉...have many great memories of Summers in PS.
I live in Palm springs and in summer it's hit over 119 degrees before
Just amazingly beautiful 😍😍
Thank you I love it there. Been vacation there for years.
Beautiful Desert Homes in Palm Springs California which reminds me of The Flintstones Bedrock City Homes!😊

Beautiful tour!👏👏👏
All lovely home in a great area. Saying that, I just want to take some of them and peel back some of the dated updates and renovations.

Esse lugar é um sonho
Great video!
C'est magnifique 😍
Those 'artfully' placed rocks are pretty funny. I bet they have rock architects in PS.
That first house looks like it's on the Gaza strip.
Casas esquisitas...
Hell Yeah
Как тут можно жить, слишком идеально
This is my idea of heaven
Omg
Looks beautiful but dead somehow. Must be brutal in the heat 😮
Why there's no two story house?

The view. No one wanted their views blocked by two story homes.

Why there isn't 2 story homes?
They would block the view .
@@patwillis1893 ok tks!
Não sei, se eu gostaria, de lugares desertos...
Lo que no se ve son aceras peatonales.
I think you have to love Mid Century, otherwise the place looks, dry, flat and boring
Yep, like your head XD
Boring? Every single one is unique, how can that possibly be boring?
Did you not see the mountains in the background?
@@KevinBarry-n6i the mountains are beautiful.
most of the houses dont have big windows, the lighting is poor
