So disappointed to see the second it flies you clip it. Ofc it’ll bump into stuff, it has never seen the place ever. And your first instinct is to cut its wings..
I know it can be to help the bird avoid injury, but it wasn’t even allowed to settle into the place. There’s no actual issues with its flight. It’s just an unfamiliar area. :(
It’s a bird. They’re made to fly. Flight is their primary defense system. If you really can’t handle a flighted animal don’t get birds.

@@unsorteddude only first flight he might be panicking if you dont give him time to settle in room. I never had that problem. Also he might be bad flyer becouse most of birds in shop are young. But chances of him hurting himself becouse he have wings are much smaller than parrot with trimmed wings.
Check my videos. Its much more satisfying if you have tame flying parrot who actually enjoyes spending time with you..

Do not clip your budgies wings. If you don’t want to have your bird screaming and flying around all day DON’T get a bird. DO NOT get a bird if you are going to cut his wings. Do not hold him and grab him like that. Birds breath by inflating their chest and when you hold him he is suffocating and that’s the only reason why he stops struggling. Your budgie DOES NOT LIKE YOU and you lost its trust the o my reason it is on your finger is because it feels vulnerable and it is suffocating. Clipping your birds wing can cause muscle atrophy and then they will have REALLY BAD health issues. DO NOT get a bird without doing research. Because you are setting a bad example for young viewers who don’t know better. BE BETTER

I hate when people clip their budgies wings. Just leave them in the cage until their comfortable enough to trust you, don't force them
Or not. It doenst hurt them and they can still fly short distances, especially with large windows or white walls its very dangerous.

Listen after losing my baby I introduced a clip, to try it. I ended up taking some time and barely snipped the edges and they were still able to fly, but after a bout 50 yards they’d tire out and flutter down. They still had the means to lift off and get to higher elevation but they couldn’t get too high or out of reach that I couldn’t rescue them in the event they flew off. I live in texas with many birds of prey! So I couldn’t ever risk having another baby get away with the knowledge of what is out there. I understand my selfish desire to own birds as pets however I would say I provide a decent lifestyle for em! As long as they’re not completely grounded

Ok love bird master! I purchased to Lovebirds locally here in Mexico about 3 months ago. They were little babies they were very very little. We had to hand feed them for several weeks. I was told they would adore me and follow me everywhere and think of me as their mother ...well, they did not! Now, 2 months later they are very very slowly coming around to trusting me. We have built a great play Space outside of their cage and take them out every day to play but the one bird is still very skittish and scared of me

It's a risky move to have these two together, most bird breeders do not recommend due to Lovies usually nipping on the budgies legs. I have a personal experience to confirm this, where my bird ( as loveable and friendly as she was) nearly broke my budgie's leg biting it. He has also lost a talon to her bite - she had separated it from the bone so he just ' plucked it out'... even though she was never aggressive towards him, she had still injured him several times when I thought they were already friends. So no matter what, do not leave them unattended for safety : )
We are very careful and don’t let them without us. We are watching them all the time and if loki sometimes tries to bite him we scream au and she understands that. Now they play together and seems to like each other))

That lovebird was like, "Once you leave the room, I'm going to do a number on this budgie." I know lovebirds; they can be extremely vicious and violent. I would never trust a lovebird with a budgie.

If they don’t bite they’re are really really good bonded they enjoy their time together they cannn...stay together if you do believe in ur budgie and lovebird they CAN stay together I’m getting a love bird soon!
@@arditx they had a little squable when first introduced but they have figured out their pecking order for the most part, love bird still gets nippy with my budgies when hes hormonal so we seperate him till he cools down

@@arditx thats the best, mine was hand fed through a cage but never hand tamed before i got him but he warmed up to us really quick just had to get used to the other birds, him and the one budgie actually are bros now
Because birds are good at hiding their illnesses, they should be kept apart from one another for 4 weeks, from everything I have read. I hope your birds get on well. 😁
