As far as I'm concerned, the Nets should just trade him anywhere where they get proper compensation. They don't have to follow Durant's wish list. I'd love to see KD join a lottery team. Teaches him and other players to not fk over the team and not have consequences. The Nets arent budging, if you're not going to give them one or two potential star players and a few good draft picks, you're not in the running.
That was the problem. Nobody was willing to give up the compensation they thought was fair. The market KD thought was there was not there. They wanted at least one all-star player plus starter level players and multiple first round picks in any deal involving Durant. There`s only 2 or 3 teams in the league that could pull that off and even for those teams it would mean completely depleting their roster for a guy who hasn`t been able to stay on the floor for the past few seasons.
