Danielle Harris on Annie's Death in Halloween II (2009)

- During the 2016 Rock and Shock horror and music convention in Worcester, MA, Danielle Harris answered some interesting questions from the fans, including how she thought the final showdown between Michael and Annie should look.
Annie's death scene was a huge tear jerker still gets to me her father Brad Dourif saying "Oh Annie, no no!!" the flashback scene as Annie when she was a little girl holding a puppy. Rob Zombie are hardcore for gore, violence, nudity, and dark comedy but when Rob wants to put a sad scene in his movies he doesn't hold back.
Very cool to know that Danielle came up with the idea for that scene which was, unarguably, one of the most terrifying, cruel, saddest, and unexpected things I've ever seen.
I love Danielle Harris, she's a fabulous actor👏👏👏 ... She deserves way more credit, than what she gets 💯

That scene came out PERFECT, and gave the fans exactly what they wanted from Danielle Harris, years after they retconned her character into obscurity. Halloween 4 is the best sequel in the whole franchise to date. Including Rob's versions. I had a crush on her as a kid, and never lost it. Thank you for a perfect death scene.
MUCH better than that HORRIBLE corn thresher death in "Halloween 6".
Halloween 4 and 5 are my two favs because of her. You should hear her story of how Dimension screwed Danielle over when they made H6; the story pushed me over the edge 😡.

Thanks for posting this! I would love to see the full panel. I was at Rock & Shock last year (go every year) but this panel was on Friday I believe and I was only there Saturday so I couldnt go to this which was disappointing because I love Danielle and wanted to go to her panel. Still met her though and went to her photo op thing which was awesome!
What a queen . The best and most impactful kill/death of that movie was her idea .

You completely misunderstood her, Rob meant the actual fight which is usual the actors/stuntmen winging unless it’s something super specific. Also directors take input from actors all the time and she was a Halloween veteran and icon it’s not a surprise he let her go out the way she wanted too…
Her character in Rob Zombie's Halloween franchise was absolutely incredible. Her scream in the first one was absolutely blood-curdling & terrifying....😱😱😱😱😱

I've always been a keyboard warrior for the RZ Myers films, especially Halloween II, I fuckin' love that film. That said, now this makes me wish we got to see a choreographed chase scene between Annie and the absolute unit that is Tyler Mane's Michael.
Maybe with some demented, fucked up version of The Shape Stalks with it.
Just makes me hope we get a Halloween 4/5 reboot continuation some day before Danielle cant.

I thought that shit was stupid. Rob had Danielle Harris' version of Annie survive the 1st movie, only to end up getting killed in the 2nd movie.
But many of us liked her then, and she was more like Jamie instead of Annie, which made the death sad
Her death scene and the beginning hospital stuff were the only good things about "H2." The rest of the film was a big FU to the fans.

They still never showed how she died. I hate how Rob Zombie cut Halloween 2 together. Even in the unrated cut there was never really a fight scene. You just heard audio. It was so disappointing.

I would rather pick out socks than to watch those Rob Zombie Halloween bullshit films! They were terrible and SUCKED so bad! He ruined Halloween! Those films should've never been made! I love Danielle Harris and loved the whole Jamie Lloyd storyline in the original Halloween sequel films. I think it was a bad idea that they completely ignored all the original Halloween sequel's with the new Halloween (2018) film... Or the only one that should've been ignored is dumbass Resurrection, which also should've never been made. I think they could've had a really good story if they would've considered those films and brought back Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris) ...or I think they could've also went backwards and had a good story to tell between Halloween 2 and 4, since we never had a real Halloween 3. There was a 10 year period between Halloween's 2 and 4, so, they could've done a prequel maybe, or at least maybe just did like a flashback to that time and show what happened and how Jamie Lloyd came to be, and then brought her back on as Laurie's daughter instead of the other girl. I think that would've been awesome.
