Those were the reason Halloween: Curse of Michael Myers is the worst movie. They did the character of Jamie dirty AF. They had a horrible script and it became a mess. Danielle Harris is a lot like Sarah Butler. I'll never understand why they don't have constant work in higher budgeted NON-HORROR film, because they're extremely good actresses. Damn good, in fact. Underrated talent do these low budget horror films, which is nice (I guess), but a waste of their work as artists on the silver screen. I hope that Danielle gets her wish of acting alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in a Halloween film, even if she's not playing the Jamie Lloyd character. I feel her performing with Curtis will fill that void in her heart.

Honestly I think the problem is she spent all that money to get emancipated and she wanted to earn the money back but they didn't want to pay her that much because they only wanted her for the first act and really given how briefly Jamie was in the film I don't see why her being 17 was a problem. They filmed two entire movies with her as a child, Halloween 5 being filmed in less than a year but they couldn't film her just for the first act because they wanted her to be emancipated? I don't blame her for not going through with it, they made her waste her money, insulted her, and refused to pay her anymore. So wrong of them.
I've been seeing a lot of hate for Judy Greer and her portrayal as Laurie's daughter in Halloween 2018. It makes me wonder if the fans hate Karen because of her character's writing, or because Danielle Harris isn't playing her. It also plays with whether or not Karen would die, or how she'd die. We all know Karen won't last in Halloween Kills; we don't know how it'll happen but we know the torch is being passed to Allyson. Danielle's version of Karen would be way different but at the same time, would it be?

Personally I picture baby Steven growing up to the new protagonist and an anti-heroic one at that; a balance character between Jamie's innocence and Michael's darkess.

Those were the reason Halloween: Curse of Michael Myers is the worst movie. They did the character of Jamie dirty AF. They had a horrible script and it became a mess. They should have left off from Halloween 5 and not include any of the confusing thorn storyline.
Danielle Harris is one of the most underrated actresses ever in Hollywood. And wish she would be able to revisit Halloween franchise one day again.
They didn't have a choice with the Cult thing, Halloween 5 set it up with the Thorn mark and the Man in Black.

Some people are confused why she asked for a lot of money, it was because she spent THOUSANDS of dollars to get emancipated
Despite I would personally like to see the original franchise continue; it just pisses me off that they killed her character so badly that she wouldn't be able to come back other than as a cameo; would've been great to have seen Jamie and Laurie reunite officially and tie the two continuities together in that aspect.

Danielle Harris is a lot like Sarah Butler. I'll never understand why they don't have constant work in higher budgeted NON-HORROR film, because they're extremely good actresses. Damn good, in fact. Underrated talent do these low budget horror films, which is nice (I guess), but a waste of their work as artists on the silver screen. I hope that Danielle gets her wish of acting alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in a Halloween film, even if she's not playing the Jamie Lloyd character. I feel her performing with Curtis will fill that void in her heart.
Danielle really doesn't get the recognition she deserves....heck in See No Evil 2 she is the LEAD and she got killed off which yea may have been or wasn't her decision but still she has to be 1 of the top 5 scream queens for me and people really need to recognize that in the filming department when making movies

I wish they would give her a part in the new Halloween timeline. Like a minor character such as a teacher, or nurse in the hospital. I hate that she’s never met Jamie Lee Curtis when she was the one who carries the franchise after she left.
Honestly I think the problem is she spent all that money to get emancipated and she wanted to earn the money back but they didn't want to pay her that much because they only wanted her for the first act and really given how briefly Jamie was in the film I don't see why her being 17 was a problem. They filmed two entire movies with her as a child, Halloween 5 being filmed in less than a year but they couldn't film her just for the first act because they wanted her to be emancipated? I don't blame her for not going through with it, they made her waste her money, insulted her, and refused to pay her anymore. So wrong of them.

I've been seeing a lot of hate for Judy Greer and her portrayal as Laurie's daughter in Halloween 2018. It makes me wonder if the fans hate Karen because of her character's writing, or because Danielle Harris isn't playing her. It also plays with whether or not Karen would die, or how she'd die. We all know Karen won't last in Halloween Kills; we don't know how it'll happen but we know the torch is being passed to Allyson. Danielle's version of Karen would be way different but at the same time, would it be?

H6 was just trying too hard to be culty and out there with the curse and the over amount of violence. It would have been great to see Danielle in this one and to have it done right especially before Donald died but that's the biz though...

I will say I think they should have continued this storyline though. Personally I picture baby Steven growing up to the new protagonist and an anti-heroic one at that; a balance character between Jamie's innocence and Michael's darkess.

The combination of the "Theater" and "Producers" version strongly suggests Michael Myers and Jaime were both the victims of Dr. Wynn trying to use them in his experiments with genetic engineering in order to harness the power of "evil."
