Ya'll should watch the director talk about all the Easter eggs and Subliminal messages. Especially when he start talking about the music and the Morse Codes and frequencies they hid in music most people missed.

This movie was so good! I'm glad y'all reacted to it. I'm hoping a few more of my favorite reaction channels will catch it. Also, I'm glad y'all caught the Back that azz up chords. I had to rewind because I thought I was going crazy. And I'm glad Tasha called it a relaxer. I kept watching the perm not even catching the irony. But yeah, that was the creamy crack.

Our town has the same issue you mentioned, where Black churches are totally silent on the subject of cops killing people, even after our town caught national headlines for the police violence here.
This movie is a TRIP, and in a GOOD way!
From the trailer, I thought it was gonna be some mess. I thought it would be some kind of shallow blaxploitation BS. But they took the common blaxploitation tropes and leaned into them so hard, they weaponized them and turned them into a tool of commentary and parody. I think I kinda love it!

This is one of the best movies of the year in my opinion. People are saying you have to black to truly understand and enjoy the movie I highly disagree with that. This movie’s message is important for everyone to hear and is super entertaining and enjoyable for all audiences (minus young kids of course).
I honestly think this is thee best thing Netflix has put out in awhile definitely movie wise. Now they just need to give us continuing series that are this good…because after Stranger Things ends for good what do they have?
I mean Outerbanks is enjoyable for some mindless entertainment. They have Wednesday which is super enjoyable but I highly doubt it will continue for much longer considering Jenna Ortega has a bunch of haters coming for her because she stood up for herself on that set. PLUS it’s got to be hard for all of those big name actors schedules to line up ontop of Tim Burton’s. All the rest have been cancelled unfortunately: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Orange Is The New Black, Santa Clarita Diet, Tuca & Bertie, Bjoadk Horseman, Disenchantment, Ozarks, Glow, Crazyhead, etc.
Definitely don't think you need to be Black to get it but I think you do need to know like a lot of in-jokes and cultural shit, which obviously isn't knowledge exclusively tied to race, or you'll be missing a lot of what the movie has to offer.

When my wife and I first saw this, she caught the Juvenile in church before I did and I was pretty shocked because I’m the Hip Hop head of the marriage.
This is definitely Uncover Brother 2.0. Stay for the credit song because Eryka Badu re-recorded Tyrone to fit the movie.
You guys should watch this Thriller/Horror/Mystery Show called "From" it's really good and interesting storyline. Season 2 just came out about a month or 2 ago but I think it's something you guys might really enjoy to watch!!!

I thought it’s because the original people were from the 70s/80s. They kept cloning them so they kept some of the memories, habits etc.

Saw it the other night and I really liked it especially for a Netflix movie but I do have a problem with it and that being I think it really should have been a mini series instead given how interesting and mind bending it was.

Lol ion think it’s a continuity error, I think ppl just didn’t pay attention to see when rhodey may have been taken, it coincided with gravik’s plan which he started after endgame ..so realistically he would’ve been held captive about 2 years in the mcu timeline, probably had a gown from a checkup that needs to take place for a man with his condition 🤷🏾♂️ this me spitballing tho but I feel like that’s what makes the most sense, he got grabbed by a scrull impersonating his doctor perhaps
In endgame Rhodey bled and it was red, skrulls have purple blood so unless marvel don’t pay attention 😂 I would assume the Rhodes we saw in falcon and winter soldier was a skrull

There are parts of the movie that did not make any sense! If you are watching the entire town then how come they did not see all the black people gather together to stop you! They also had people enter their labs multiple times and you have no security watching the facilities! Also the most important part that made absolutely no sense! A White police officer murdered your brother so then why didn't you change the racists hatred attitudes of the White people!! These are gaping holes in the plot that made absolutely no sense!! Alsl it is not the government but another nlack man who has betrayed, hurt and is experimenting on black people! Its a good an interesting movie but it is by no means great be aue there are too many weak plotlines in the story!!
