    DAHI KE KEBAB
    Preparation time: 15- 20 minutes
    Cooking time: 15 minutes
    Serves: 4
    Ingredients:
    For Filling
    1 ½ tbsp Ghee, घी
    ½ cup Cashew nut, काजू
    ⅓ cup fried Onion, chopped. तले हुए प्याज
    1 tsp Fennel seeds, crushed, सौंफ़
    2 Green chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च
    ¼ cup Coriander leaves, chopped, धनिया
    Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
    ½ tsp Red chilli powder, लाल मिर्च पाउडर
    ½ tsp Roasted Cumin powder, भुना जीरा पाउडर
    2 tbsp Hung curd, टंगा हुआ दही
    For Dahi Kebab
    2 cups Hung curd, टंगा हुआ दही
    Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
    ½ tsp Black pepper, crushed, काली मिर्च
    ⅓ cup fresh Bread crumb, ब्रेड क्रम्ब
    ½ tsp Nutmeg, grated, जायफल
    ¼ cup Roasted Gram flour, भूने चने का बेसन
    For Coating
    2 cup fresh Bread crumb, ब्रेड क्रम्ब
    ⅓ cup Poha, crushed, पोहा
    Oil for shallow fry, तेल
    Tamatar ki Chutney
    4-5 Tomato, into halved, टमाटर
    ½ inch Ginger, peeled, slice, अदरक
    2 Green chilli, हरी मिर्च
    8-10 Cashewnut, काजू
    Salt to taste, नमक स्वादअनुसार
    ½ tsp Red chilli powder, लाल मिर्च पाउडर
    1 tbsp Jaggery, गुड़
    1 tbsp Oil, तेल
    1 tsp Lemon juice, नींबू का रस
    Process
    For Filling
    In a pan, add ghee, cashew nuts roast them until golden in colour.
    Transfer it into a plate, chop and keep it aside.
    In a bowl, add roasted chopped cashew nut, fried onion, fennel seeds, chopped green chilli, coriander leaves, salt to taste, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder mix it well.
    Add a little hung curd and mix everything well. Keep it aside for future use.
    For Dahi Kebab
    In a large bowl, add salt to taste, black pepper powder, fresh bread crumb, grated nutmeg and roasted gram flour mix everything well.
    Take a small portion of dahi kebab and stuff the filling and seal it properly to make a round ball.
    Coat it with the bread crumb mixture. Make the rest of it with the remaining filling as same.
    Keep in the refrigerator for 5 minutes so that it holds its shape.
    Heat oil in a kadai, fry the dahi kebab on medium flame until nice golden in color and crisp from all the sides.
    Remove on a absorben paper to remove an excess amount of oil.
    Serve hot with tomato chutney.
    For Coating
    In a large bowl, add fresh bread crumb and crushed poha mix well.
    For Tomato Chutney
    In a grinder jar, add halved tomatoes, ginger, green chilli, cashewnut, salt to taste, red chilli powder, jaggery, oil and lemon juice grind it into a smooth paste.
    Transfer it into a bowl.

    These days while cooking during lockdown me and my husband keep saying this to each other "Ranveer apne bataya nahi" ...and thank you for this recipe. Dahi kabab is our all time favourite...just didn't know how to make it. You are telepathic chef !!! :)

    I can't explain how I have become of your fan during this lockdown. Every single day I watch atleast 1-2 recipes and make one of them with my wife. And I like "Ranveer aapne btaya nhi" most. Never seen a recipe videos like this before. History and to much knowledge about each and every ingredient. Simply awesome.

    आपने लाकडाऊन के कठिन समय में आसान तरीके ,रोचक शैली से व्यंजन सिखाये ।बारीकिया सावधानियां ,विकल्प भी बताये । कम सामग्री से परिवार तरह तरह के नाश्ते, व्यंजन बना पाया।समय अच्छा कट गया और किसी तरह की कमी महसूस नहीं हुई ।
    इसीलिए आपके मिलियन शिष्य हो गए बहुत शुभकामनायें ।ये और बढे।सभी अच्छा भोजन सीख ले।यह विधा जीवन के लिये बहुत जरूरी है।
    दही तो सेहत के लिये अच्छा है।।घर मे कढी ,रायता बनाते है।सलाद (कोशिंबीर)मे भी कभी कभी डालते है।लेकिन यह प्रकार पहली बार देखा।
    दही को भले ही आठ घंटे लटका कर पानी कम किया फ्रीज मे रखे.नमक डालते
    ही वह कितना मुलायम हो गया कि हाथ मे लिपट रहा। ऐसी स्थिति मे इसे सम्भाल कर आप जैसे कुशल व्यक्ती ही बना सकते हैं ।
    हमे तो लस्सी रायता ही ठीक है।थालीपीठ या आलू परांठे के साथ दही में सलाद वाली सब्जियां डालकर स्वादिष्ट पौष्टिक बना कर ही खा लेंगे।
    आप सच्चे सरल युवा इंसान हो।आपकी लोकप्रियता ऐसे ही दिन दूनी बढती रहे।यशस्वी हो।अपना ख्याल रखियेगा। धन्यवाद ।

    Got so lost in history of dahi that I forgot what masala was added to filling. Had to rewind back.

    I love kebab since I’m vegetarian I think this recipe is perfect for me cause it’s just looks so good and makes me try it thank you sure😍 all your recipes are so good and I have tried like most of them and My family loved it too now let’s see how the kebab goes🥰 thanks again

    I tried it today and never heard of this tomato chutney , made both exactly the same way you told , turned out really really yummy , shared it immediately with my friends and family , a must try specially the combo of this chutney and dahi kebab is AWESOME 😋😋

    I tried'em today with shallow frying... They were scrumptious and my friends liked it a lot... I made here an there few changes - cardamom instead of nutmeg, shallow frying rather than deep fry, mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, pista and raisins - no fried onions), brown bread crumbs.. It was very yummm.I wish I could share the picture of them here to satisfy the taste buds just by a look of it😋

    I must say that ur receipes are so good and u tell them in such simple way that we actually want to try them at home.
    I have one question regarding dahi kebab..how much dahi initially have you taken for the amount of dahi ready as shown in the video and can we use any readymade dahi available in market?

    That smile you give us with the pauses in between the talk, love it! Feels like you really are here with us in our kitchen and that feeling of bliss right there! I have tried almost all of your recipes and every time I go through a dish, you remind me of the “aur aap kahenge Ranveer apne bathaya nhi” which comes with a key point or precaution!
