"Die Together" is an emotional ballad written by Amanda herself together with Bjørn Helge Gammelsæter.
Amanda Georgiadis Tenfjord lives in Norway and is of Greek heritage. She was born in Ioannina in Greece and moved to Tenfjord in Norway with her family at the age of 3.🇬🇷💙
Greek heritage? That one way of putting it. She is Greek-Norwegian. Her father is Greek, her mother is Norwegian. She didn't move to Norway simply because she liked the country.

Nice analysis of the silence of the song and I agree with you that it is a very beautiful song and Greece production can't bungle the staging of the live performance as they did in 2019 with Katerine Duska (the song was great but the staging awful!) Good luck for Greece from France.

This has the melancholy that is typically Norwegian and Scandinavian, and the reason why is that Amanda is half Norwegian (her mother is Norwegian and dad Greek). She has lived in Norway since she was 3. She obviously has her musical background from Norway and thats not hard to hear when it comes to the sound. I really hope this song does well in eurovision and its cool that Greece sends something different than the usual girl with an uptempo dancing song.

Just for the record. Amanda is Norwegian. Another one from the Norse singer squad.
She is not only norwegian. Her father is Greek and her mother is norwegian. Which means that she is half Greek half norwegian.

Well, half Norwegian is ok with me. She participated in the ESC show in Norway and was speaking Norwegian flawlessly. It all comes down to where she lives.
@@henningmathiassen412 It comes not down on where you live. I was born and raised in Germany, have a huge love for this country but I never felt german. If you think all the immigrants ( and as a former immigrant I do know) feel they have the same ethnicity with the country they live in, boy are you in for a treat. Amanda, however, is half Norwegian cause her mother is norwegian, her father is greek.

Even as someone who’s Greek Cypriot, I’m not that impressed with this entry ... it sounds way too English for my liking, lol. I prefer it when they sing in Greek and have ethnic music in the background. This song didn’t really impress me that much. It’s better than the British entry though.
We don't need bouzouki and tsifteteli in the background every time to remind us that a song is Greek. Greece is full of artists that create beautiful music such as this and sing wonderfully in other languages as well.
