The Brilliance brothers/sisters. would it be possible to use an instrumental. for glorification of our LORD to the lost through christian hip hop? i feel God telling me to do so. i will buy if you would like me to??
I just saw you all in concert last night in Boston at Sonia. I only heard a few of your songs before. After the concert, I can say that I fell in love with the depth and poetry of your music. I love how you all address social injustices in many of your songs. And I hear so much soulfulness from David Gungor's voice. Wonderful music!
I love this song, I heard it since so long time and I apreciate it for the meaning so important that It has for people who are looking for Jesus and his Spirit!
This song is such a blessing and so beautiful! Just found you this past year and it has gotten me through the worst of the worst times I couldn't even imagine. God bless you all. Is this song on an album anywhere to buy?
I love their songs, but the lyrics to this song surprise me a little. I certainly appreciate the sincerity - that the song reflects a genuine experience/feeling when we see suffering in the world. But with Christ's life and example, God does answer the question a million times over. Perhaps the song has to be considered in the context of a whole album. Haven't heard the album, but some songs I've heard reflect a great deal of faith.
Many questions in the Psalms seem to be rhetorical--the psalmist, in despair, asks where God is and why He is not helping.... When the heart is breaking, logic and reason and truth can seem very far away....
That's true. And faith in God is always the answer. In fact in the most desperate times, faith allows us to increase our strength and our ability to hear and feel God's presence. Reaching towards God and increasing our awareness of God's presence when the voice of God seems distant makes us more in tune with that voice at other times.
+Stephanie Johnson I think you're right, the song seems to be referring to Eric Garner for that verse. On the whole, I think the song is like a prayer, asking God to see our suffering. ...of course God does see our suffering, which is why he sent Christ into the world, and why he makes people see the suffering in others, so that we might help them the best we can.
+Rick Flannery Good for them for speaking up for issues in the US, its so rare for churches or Christians who are not of color to speak of for these types of issues in the US, it almost makes you wonder are they really people of God or someone else?
Thank you to, RELEVANT for having us into the studio and thank you to everyone who watches and supports!

That verse was added to the 2nd recording of the song on the album "Brother." It was not on the "Brilliance Road Recordings" version.
+Joshua Kennedy Hip-Hop that seems irrelevant, but ok thanks for the info.
Uh, okay?
the instrumental reminds me Jonsi...

Is there a recording of the performance where they changed the second verse?
are they from england?
