This song is so powerful. My best friend just died the other day only 24 years old he died of a rare type of skin cancer. He had gotten it 3 times 1st time God healed him and he testified, second time he laughed at it and God healed him again, third time he laughed at it again but it took his life, But my God still healed him cause now he is in heaven and he has ultimate healing! He saw heaven and told us about it before he left this earth! My God is love! and i love my God.

I used to sing in a worship band for many years. We once sang this song at a christian festival and I was singing the lead. It was a warm summer day we had a big campfire infront of the stage ....and then suddenly the rain pours down wildly like a storm but it was still warm and soo beautiful and it was like a sign of God. What I felt in this moment was the most beautiful feeling I have ever felt.

What I'm about to say is not directly involving this song but this song among many other things helps me feel the holy spirit in my heart. I feel moved to tell everyone who is a believer and follower in Christ to tell everyone that God is alive in us just as much now as he has ever been. He is not fading from us, but I think people today are fading from Him and I see it more and more. I live it every day I go to my high school and it breaks my heart to hear what people say about God. I'm sure many of us can agree when I say sometimes it is overwhelming and we feel outnumbered. But I say that we need to stand up for Jesus like he did for us the day he died for us on the cross. It is so amazing how he said before he died, "forgive them for they know not what they do". He said that after all of what happened to him. After all the torture and suffering, He still loved and forgave. So I want to say that the least we can do is love and forgive as well and stand up for Jesus and what he did. Help to share the story of His love to others so that they might come to believe as we have. We as believers are disciples need to help spread God's Word. For he says in the book of Matthew 10:33,"But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven". You see, we are called to remain faithful to Him and spread his Word. I know this was a long message, but thank you if you took the time to read it.

When I was a worship leader through my years of youth group I loved this song and used this for open worship. My dad was the pastor and life wasn’t as perfect as everyone thought. I had gone down a dark path and went through the motions. This song helped me so much when my friend passed away. I’ll always have a heart of worship and this song brought me back. Love this song! It brings to mind something my mom once said to me: "humility is being still in the storm of God's will". I feel this really come alive in this song:

Being able to place your life in God's hands and trust him takes a lot of courage, to be able to let go and become immersed in his wonders, and trusting that he's going to give you strength to keep on breathing while you're submerged in the ocean of his love, and the storm of his will.
Another thing my mom always said, is that God will give us the deepest desires of our heart - because he put them there after all! So in trusting him, and allowing ourselves to be still in his gracious tempest, we know that he will be good to us.
What a paradox that God should be a raging storm, but also that still small voice of calm.

I know that no matter what, I'm going home. Jesus had done it all. I just want to live life happily knowing that someone died for me. I don't deserve it but still, my God saved me. Saved us all. His love is enough. He is so beautiful, full of mercy and grace.

Just remembering the really tough moments that I had to live a few moths ago. This song helped me a lot ( also - touch the sky), when I needed to feel Jesus in my heart. Today, after all the difficult moment passed away I come back to listen and I thank Jesus because of his love is surpassing, better than anything else. Now, if you feel in the same way or even worst remember that you are not alone and Jesus is always with us, there is no darkness with him because he is the light of the world, HE is the light of YOUR world.

today is mothers day, I lost my 1st and only child a few months ago misscarriage today i am choosing to dwell in the lord i pray for those hurting today in anyway for any reason and pray for those who has lost a child no one ever tells us how to cope or when the pain ends i dont think it ever will but praise be to god that we can turn to prayer and music like this god bless
