@@steven530x theres nothing inherently wrong with the mustang's, it's just the knuckleheads that don't know how to drive. This vid is as proof that idiots in any v8 rwd car can be a disaster.
Hey!! dont hate on the geo metro. I drove one for quite a while. More off road than on, but nonetheless it was a great car for all terrain and got amazing gas mileage
I said it because in USA most cars are automatic and in Europe 90 % of te cars are manual gearboxes, I guess that's because of the high fuel prices in Europe (approx 1,70 euro/litre)
I would not stereotype.. this was in Canada just so you know. I know alot of everyone else from different counties using Autos.. People in Audi's, BMW, Mercs.. etc use the flappy paddles.
I'm sorry but I don't know anything abotu cars, What does burning a clutch mean? Is it when you push your clutch in and give too much gas? Or when u shift down too hard? I'm afraid I would ever burn my clutch of my manual car.. DOn't be hard on me please :)
Think of it like this. If you were to quickly slap your hand across a table with some grip, you'd probably burn get a burning feeling. So basically revving the motor too high while slipping the clutch out slowly can burn up the clutch.
If you just let go of it, you will dump the clutch. That can result in a few things: Extreme tire spinning, drivetrain breaking, stripping of gears, burning clutch, or stalling.
Yea its probably the clutch, must have had it in 1st while showing off the revs, thus burning the clutch, which is why you hear it slipping b/w shifts. Also, there was lack of accel in the launch; I bet he would have been better off if he dumped the clutch instead. Chances are he's been riding the clutch even before the day of the show, and isn't even aware of it.
seems like showing off without money teaches ya better than the mofos who try to show off with money lol, they just bust things and make idiots of themselves!
Yeh, kudos for trying to educate someone on what exactly happened there. Vakama was being sarcastic. Can you see the quotes around each phrase he put up from the video? Yeh.
My 1994 2.4L 4cyl 5spd BASE Toyota could do a better burnout than that...That guy makes vettes look like total crap...even tried to kick it sideways..I think TC was on. maybe not.
Wheel smoke dosnt come from the center of the car.............and I think the number of videos corvettes burning clutches WATY outweighs the number of ones burning rubber! Haha shitty domestic
once one guy says that was the clutch ,,you hear about 20 people say '' yup clutch, yupp yupp''
yupp
ohh yeah, that was the clutch. yeah yeah
Driver: better not dump the clutch or I’ll damage it...let’s it out slowly
Clutch: am I melting?
I feel like it's always the corvette guys melting their clutches or wrecking from burnouts... So sad that dumb people have nice cars!
"damage was estimated at thirty-seven dollars"
Have you NOT heard of the word "MUSTANG" lmao the notorious pedestrian smacker?

😂😢
See the smoke when he first takes off?
It's not coming from his tires, it's coming from his transmission.
if he had a bad clutch already this may be unavoidable
How hard can it be to let go of the clutch fast??
"Not just a Corvette, a 500 horsepower Corvette with a stock clutch."
Factory 505hp lmao
I like my clutch like my doughnuts .... Glazed lol. That poor clutch :( !
Somebody forgot that standing burnouts require brakes and gas, not clutch and gas ...
Corvette always do some weird stunt 🙄!
hahaha best part is he kept going

God I hope not, I can't tell either.

The funny thing is he probably look by the rearview mirror and though the smoke was from the tires xD
They were talking about how much parts cost, he was talking about the corvette having a double clutch, which it does not.
Seems pretty dangerous for the guys in the median
an AUTOMATIC geo metro!
what?

Anyone realize he pulled out of a honda dealership lol
Just make sure the geo metro is automatic.

Drive the car like it was designed to, not just make loud engine noise. That's what fucked your car up.
nah man give him a go kart he will fuck that geo up

Obviously this is no car guy. Gonna go ask his mechanic why his car smells so bad.
Why'd he do that?
R.I.P. Clutch.
i just couldnt watch this
probably has a set of golf clubs in the back of the car
I bet that smelled bad.
he rode the clutch and didnt let go fast enough.. like a 15 yr old girl learning how to drive stick

Only in America it's hard to understand a manual clutch..
then don't drive a manual corvette if you can't shift for shit.
u know what is diff?
burnt* burnt* say* ... the tires werent spinning much if at all, that was clutch smoke

i can't see the clutch burning from the first place. I only see smoke cuz of wheelspin.
