I test all three cameras shooting with sun behind the cameras and then also shooting direct into the sun. I was supposed to have been doing this test with an external vlogging microphone, that being the RODE Wireless GO lavalier but I did not have it connected. The video was shot with the internals mics of the iPad Pro, so will give you a good idea of how they sound. So, if you are vlogging on an iPad Pro, interviewing someone using an iPad Pro, or just shooting general video with an iPad Pro. This video should give you a very good idea of how all the cameras on the iPad look when using the iPad on a tripod outdoors with good sunlight. Beautiful video! I just bought my 2020 11" iPad Pro today. I know I'm going to be pleased with the cameras on it. I'm getting all the accessories for it through Amazon. You've sold me on the screen protector. Now to watch your other videos to see if you other iPad Pro accessories to show. Thank you for your informative and interesting videos.
Hi Debra. I'm sure you are going to be very happy with your new iPad Pro, they're the best tablet device available. I absolutely love mine and couldn't do without it. Cheers, Dave.
Interesting! Never even thought about the camera system it has. I think most people who buy iPad Pro probably buy it for various reasons but not the camera system and yet you’ve proven it’s pretty capable. It even has 4K 24 🤩 if I didn’t have a camera I would be using this for sure! Cheers!
I love your video! I’ve been teaching video production for thirty years, and work with big rigs and cinema cameras, but for a year or more I’ve gravitated to simply using phone/iPad/GoPro. In fact, if I could only have one tech item, it would be an iPad mini with pencil. You can shoot, Redford audio, do graphic design and animation, and share.
Alright Jon, there was actually a slight problem that I didn’t notice properly. I do all my editing and mixing on headphones, living in a block of flats is a pain in the arse 😆 The problem was the headphones weren’t plugged in properly and I was actually monitoring something slightly different. Non the less, once your close to the mics, especially the one for the rear cameras, they do have a very respectable tone. I’m gonna try out something I touched on in another video, doing a piece to camera indoors. I’ll do it in such a way that it’s basically replacing my usual camera and I’ll also use a USB audio interface and plug in one of my studio mics into the iPad as well. Cheers, Dave.
The mic built in is really good. Only issue is theres a slight like..idk how to put it its like something tron related like cyborgy noises but only very dim.
Yes, there’s a slight phase issue. It’s something I’d not noticed too much as my headphones weren’t plugged in properly. On the whole though, I think the internals sounds OK. Cheers, Dave.
Hey new subscriber I’ve been using an iPad Pro 2016 9.7” decided to part in for a new 2021 iPad Pro 11” so pretty excited about using your tips . Regards Fred ps so many cameras I think I’ll be using the pad as main job . Also can I ask what case were you using on the tripod? Pps love the down to earth style
Hi Fred. I used a clear bumper type case amzn.to/3ujOZwt although it’s not entirely necessary if you’re using the tripod grip, there’s a link in the description to the tripod grip. There are better tripod grips/mounts on Amazon, some metal/alloy ones, this one was just cheap and cheerful until I found a better one, although I’m still using this cheap one. Keep an eye on my videos, I’ve just ordered the new iPad Pro M1 and Apple TV and will be doing a bunch of videos about them. Cheers, Dave.
@@DavidHarry nice one David I can’t wait for my M1after 5 years using my 9.7 pro still works fine but it’s the camera on the new ones that makes me lick my lips. Ps I shall lookout for your vids . Fred

Nice one, Fred. In certain situations the cameras on the iPad Pro are great, especially with good light either indoors or even outdoors. I’d image the new M1 version should raise the bar a bit more. Cheers, Dane.
i have wireless go, sc7 wire and adaptor for iphone but my iphome se still uses its own microphone. how to use wireless go on video. what do i need to see in the screen ? or turn on? thanks and regards
so the front camera does not focus, it has a fixed focus, hasn't it? But the focus plane is at around 15-20 cm from the lens, so the background seems blurred, and also the face gets blurred when close to the lens. It's kinda... limiting.

Thank you :) Cheers, Dave.
was this entire video shot on the ipad pro?
Love the scouse
What audio recording device were you using?
The audio is surprisingly good from the built in Mic's. I like the colour it's really punchy and the AF works great.
Stay safe best wishes Jon.

Yes, that’s right. It’s more designed for the likes of FaceTime. The ultra-wide is infinity, as most would be and the wide has focus ability.
Mr Bean THUMBNAIL
01:49 Any higher and people might think you were giving the camera the old Nazi 'hello'.
I really have to stop doing that 😆
some may think it's some crazy NASA Nazi from outer space, and a devoluted one at that!
The thumbnail💀
built in audio is really weird
Yes, there was stuff I didn’t notice properly as my headphones weren’t in phase when I was monitoring the edit DOH.... 😆
Everything is ok except the Thumbnail...🙁
2:40 wtf😂😂
