Soon after our school Wilkerson intermediate made a plaque was put in place as a memorial. Years after the school had the idea of making the David award, which is the award given to one student who has overcome the most obstacles at their time at Wilkerson. Even to this day the award is still going on. Long live David’s soul everyone who went to Wilkerson has loved you and will always love you.
