I never knew these were beginning to end videos! I’m addicted and am now watching an Eating on a Dime marathon! All meals are amazing and I just adore Christina and Carrie!!! 20 stars for sure!
I did something almost the same cream and mushroom soup ranch dressing and a little chicken broth I cooked a pork chops put them in Crock-Pot I always cook before going in crock pot and I added potato carrot and string bean and then I put it over rice
This looks just delicious, I will try it soon and I will keep the recipe for cold weather here. It just sounds like such a great warm up winter night dinner. By the way really great presentation in the video, well done. All things were explained in an easy way to understand and the cheerful personality was nice to see.
Yummy! Thank you. Pefect for my rather picky fam. At least the ones still living here. Maybe add broccoli? Or spinach at the very end? Then the greens in the bowl too lol! Our dishwasher is on the fritz😉 I'm subbing. I may not get here often because I'm subbed to like 500 channels or something😮 and youtube can't keep up😈 Happy Fall!🎃👻🍁🥔🥕🍗
I’m a kiwi and I care about my Aussie brothers and sisters we need to get both our countries back on track! Love the cartoon series!! Lived in Brisbane for 8 years and loved it! Kia Kaha!! Or Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi!!😃
Have ordered the Cook book. A friend of mine has it and I was looking at it and had to get. Is this in the book - looks good and easy. I’m in treatment for cancer and taste buds are off and fussy. So I thing what I saw in your good will be of help. And of course watching videos Hugs😊
Yummy! Thank you for sharing. I will add onion celery and fresh parsley. I will also add fresh chopped spinach or baby kale at the very end for additional nutrients and vitamins.
If you are lactose intolerant and can’t have dairy, you can replace the milk with a plant milk, almond, cashew, oat or soy! I would also add some frozen green peas to this dish for a green vegetable.
My first time here and so happy I found you and this recipe looks delicious. I like the way you presented it. I have saved this and will try it soon. I love cooking in my crockpot because like you said, it’s easy and a one pot to clean. Thank you.
When I first learned how to use a crockpot, I was told to put the heartier veggies into the bottom of the pot first, then the meat and other ingredients on top. Vegetables cook at a slower rate than meat, and the bottom of the pot is hotter than the top of the pot. Softer veggies like green beans or peas should be added about a half-hour to an hour before the end of cooking time.
(To continue...) This is what has worked for me. I would use a roux to thicken the sauce instead of a cornstarch slurry. This is a taste preference for me as I don't like how gelatinous the sauce gets as it cools when cornstarch is used. I would hold back a little bit of the milk when making the sauce, make a roux (I use flour and butter, myself), whisk the roux and the milk together, and add it to the pot toward the end of the cook time. Potato flakes (not granules) will also thicken a sauce nicely. You can skip the thickening step entirely and serve this stew over rice instead to catch the sauce. Bon appetit, mes amis!
Healthier option….. Season chicken and dredge in seasoned flour. Brown in olive oil or Avacado oil. Once you take up chicken brown onions in same pan as you browned chicken. and add milk or cream…. Loosening all the yummy bits! Believe me…. The chicken will have much for flavor this way!!!! Season with your favorite natural seasonings! Do away with chemical laden ranch dressing mix and never “ canned soup”!

@@EatingonaDime thanks very much👍
Personally I would add onion. I believe all stews should have onion. 😋
Not everyone can eat onion like me.
🤔Onions are bad for gout 😉
Definitely. Onion goes with everything! Flavourful!
Sounds good! Bacon & green beans. Yum!

I'm trying this out this weekend, I'm adding green beans and bacon to it ,we'll see how it turns out 😋😀 thanks again for a delicious recipe 👍👍
Sounds wonderful, how did it turn out?
@@janarichards5511 fantastic 👍👍😎
@@tomhettrick7813 I’m going to try that … bacon makes everything better! 😁 Thanks!
Green beans sounds perfect. I was thinking frozen peas at the end just for some green color.

Looks amazing! I'm thinking it might work well to add 1/2 c. of sour cream to it after it's done?

Yes going to make this week.

Add parsley at the end for color
Going to make this next weekend. Looks so delicious 😋
It looks really good; think I will try this weekend. Just found your channel.
Great recipe. I am going to try this, but I will use Mushroom soup, and the last hour, think I'll add Frozen Peas. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!
That looks absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing!

I did frozen peas but added the last few minutes so they didn’t get mushy.
Or take a Lactose and eat whatever you like.

Watched this video and made this recipe. I added mushrooms. Very good, very easy and will make it again!
Looks Real Delicious!
Watching these recipes, is the reason why I bought 2 pounds of Hidden Valley Ranch Powder in two big jars from Amazon.
Always brown any meat before putting it in the crockpot, Adds so much more flavor and for safety reasons also.
Safety? On low 8 hours, there couldn't be safety issues.
Why, I have never precooked a meatloaf and etc before putting it in a crook pot
How does browning the meat make it safe? My crockpot meals taste fantastic w/o the mess of browning.. Purpose of crockpot meals is easy peasy..
That’s not necessary just put the raw meat in ❤
It is trur that browning and deglazing a pan gives so much more flavor.
Sounds very good
Awesome! Much appreciated.
Thanks so much 😊!
It looks good 👍🏾😋😋😋😋. Also easy to make 😊
Everything was going well, until you mentioned ranch dressing. We don’t have, it in Australia. Looked good too.
Looks good!

I would add leeks to this, but it seems good and not too difficult.
Lookin' so good -- how would this freeze if I made the whole recipe? (not sure about the taters)
This is very similar to a recipe I've made for years, but with pork chops, in a skillet.
What kind of soup did you add if pork chops?
@@kathyeyesopen4078 Cream of Celery
@@debbiemower thank you for responding!
The best way to save the seasonings if you sauté the chicken first is to coat the chicken in flour after seasoning and then sauté
Very appetising)
Cream of chicken from scratch is quick g easy.
Where are you getting those perfect, blemish-free potatoes? They literally look air brushed.
Broccoli would be great
What can I use instead of ranch seasoning..I from Australia..
You don't have ranch seasoning in Australia? Send me your address I'll mail you some.
Ordered the cookbook but never got the digital copy. Tried to email but box is full.

@@donnab.42 Agreed. I made this according to the recipe and it has very little flavor.
Ummm, don’t mean to be a bug but never deglaze with milk or cream, according to chefs, you may break your sauce and that’d just be a waste
Anytime I use baby carrots in the Crock-Pot even after 7 hours they still seem tough
I added corn:)
Can you use sweet potatoes
White sweet potatoes should work great.
Yummy and how easy. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌺
Where is the onion and garlic? Hmmmm
Make it your OWN....
All kinds of VEG....
Where did you get the bowls?
I have those bowls. There's 3 in the set. Good ol' Target 👍
It looks like a good recipe….I would have to embellish a bit.😊
Any substitution for cream ckn soup? Won’t use it as it contains Bioengineered ingredients.
She said she has a recipe for homemade cream of chicken soup.
@@sassysandie2865 thx. I’ll search for it.
Haters it's a meal she's sharing STOP with net picking about ingredients. Serves ZERO purpose.
Fresh Chicken ? its all frozen then thawed .
Maybe she has her own chickens🤭
Great and easy recipe but the chicken doesn’t look done…. I wouldn’t eat it like that.
Less talking
Why do all of these “cooks” talk soooooooo much?
why are you watching???
HAHAHA OMG she WHITTLES her spuds instead of peeling them.
I wish you would stop talking so much and just do it............please
She started cut uppeices and finished with whole pieces
I hate peas. Ewww
You talk a little too much.
It would be helpful if you cut back on the bs and just get to the recipe! This should have been a 4 min vid.
Come on now ! Unnecessary comment !
Everyone's a critic...@@theresabrown1272
I don't know why, but my 'creamy' sauce was all liquid....and the Ranch Dressing was too....all loose and liquidy. A total flop.
She said if you wanted to have a thicker gravy to add a cornstarch slurry toward the end of cooking
Your fav cutting board link 'can't be found'.
Thanks ❤❤❤😊😊😊
