For general, I don't know why would anybody fight so much for a song but I think ppl need to remember that Macedonians, Serbs, Turks and Greeks lived half a millennium together with ... If there are no certain historical facts, every product of their "own" culture could be influenced from each other...How ever you argue, that fact won't change. Start getting over with it....
For this particular song however, I see any attempt to nationalize futile, if there is 1980's version of this song...

lyrics are a mixture of some meaningful Turkish words and some made up words. siki siki baba means strict strict father in Turkish actually
