One of the finest tricks I've done was to brake check the cops and go forward again. Or to move to the side, brake at a highway, and go the opposite way. That sometimes confuses them and sometimes gives you more time to hide.

There's a couple other hiding spots that also appear to be effective: Rosewood: Speedrunners appear to use the waterpark to hide from the cops. On State Street, there is a tunnel with a plaza directly above it. it's possible for police to follow you up there, but 80% of the time it works. Camden Beach My go-to hiding spot has always been the small alley near the marina. Cops NEVER go in there, and when they do, they immediately go back out and don't even attempt to arrest you. The parking lot next to the boardwalk is also great. you can actually get behind the covered areas, believe it or not.

Great video man :) but I'll tell you my strategy : I usually drive around the sea area (it has maximum number of those red triangles)and try to pass every triangle till the pursuit count decreases. As soon as the helicopter leaves, I run for cooldown back again where I started(don't know which place that is). So, yeah. Those triangles make your life much much easy.
I already know about this trick since 10 years ago I still played this. Stay in the top of the bus is the most trick I have used to get a lot of milestones and bounty. But the most perfect from this trick if you can place your backside from your car in the end of the bus top, if not you can easily BUSTED if you cannot watch the police cars who can reach the top of the bus too.

The best way to end a pursuit in the absence of helicopter is to use the pursuit breakers in the rosewood stadium and hide there
