Thanks for creating and producing the video. Well done to you all. Brings back memories from Easter 1964 when my first trip to the lakes started with a walk from Braithwaite to Buttermere via Ill Crag joining your route at Sail Pass. As you say it lives long in the memory.
Wow, that was a marathon, I did 5 around that area, which was enough for me! Haha, Dave calling you darling was a first.....I think! Great hike with some superb shots and despite the mist, you still got some stunning views. Great effort by the whole team, especially with all those evil flying bugs! Cheers Alan
Cheers Alan, I was on my last legs at the end mate, but it was a cracking day. The beer tasted even better in the pub I can tell and I slept like a baby in my tent that night. Those bugs were huge and reminded me why I am not a fan of Late August... flying bugs, kids and tourists lol
My walk from the Sail col to Grasmoor via Crag Hill was completely enshrouded in clag so it was great to see the views from the ridge. Thanks for that! BTW, why is the zig-zag path to Sail "controversial"?

Any Lakes trip does Trevor, I'm not religious but for me it's God's country. Thanks for watching mate and taking the time to comment.

A lot of people believe it to be a scar on the fell and an eye sore. They wanted a straight path up
@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos Ah well, there's no pleasing some people. Cheers.
