Before this, Ben Platt and Andrew Barth Feldman were easily my favorite Evans. Now, you can’t seriously expect me to pick between all of these people! Like, all of them are sooo good!
Honestly every time I think of Ben platt in DEH. I think about how much spit came out, I will NEVER forget that. Also to this day, Ben platt had one of the BEST performances I’ve EVER SEEN on Broadway PERIOD!!!!
Honestly I would go and see Dear Evan Hanson again and again with all of these different Evans because It seems each actor brings their own sweet and endearing take on the character!
I saw Stephen Christopher last night as Evan and the chills my body received. I miss it so much already. Absolutely phenomenal. And the whole cast was kind enough to take a picture with my boyfriend and I since we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary! Dear Evan Hansen is our favorite show and to celebrate this way was such an honor. 👕❣️
Anyone else here on Team Feldman? I know everyone wants Ben Platt to reprise his role if they make a DEH movie, but I honestly think using actual teenagers would be more convincing. Andrew is actually younger than Evan Hansen, and Mallory only just graduated high school when she started playing Zoe (as much as I love Laura Dreyfuss, she looks and IS too old to play a teenager). Besides, Andrew actually SOUNDS like Ben Platt and looks the right age, so there's not much to complain about him. He is and always WILL be Evan Hansen to me. (On a side note - love the POC Evan, Roman Banks. We need more POC Hansen/Murphy actors, not just Alana and Jared!)

I love Andrew Barth Feldman! I personally feel he is the best, especially to start at 16! I feel he is the one who really could tell the story of Evan Hansen. Because some of the actors are much older I just don’t see Evan as much in them, I feel like Andrew was the best person to truly showcase the character.
