For Moona recommendations: If you want a song where she goes High, I'd recommend "Ai no Chiisana Uta". A ballad If you want a song in her natural range, I'd recommend "Whos toxic it's you". 2000's punk rock song If you want a song where she goes low, I'd recommend "Perisai jitu". More of a slow jazz feel I personally love Ai no Chiisana Uta the most, but I think theyre all fantastic listens.
Yeah, i think my favorite version of this song was when she did it live at the Holive 3rd Fes Concert a couple years ago. For Moona, I'd be curious to know what you'd have to say about her Who's Toxic? It's You. For some other Holo members, try Evil Eye Wink by Takane Lui, What an Amazing Swing by Tsunomaki Watame or Neko Kaburina by Nekomata Okayu.
The remasters on the Orbiture album all have that issue that you pointed out where the vocals lose some of the force that they had in the original. One of the reasons why I prefer to listen to the originals over the remasters. I quite enjoy Moona's voice though sadly she doesn't have too many solo original songs. High Tide is probably my favorite from her. If you were to listen to another, I'd recommend Perisai Jitu. It's a good time. My personal member recommendation for another vtuber would be AZKi as she started out with the purpose of making music over streaming games and whatnot (her and Suisei began with this role) so she is quite good. Inochi and The Last Frontier (this is a duet with Suisei) are probably her most popular songs. Both of them had updated versions released this year (The Last Frontier has a live version, but I'd consider it as "updated" since just like Inochi's, it has different lyrics).
Since you brought up AZKi, and The Last Frontier, I will tag along and mention story time, by AZKi, Suisei, Moona, and IRyS (formerly a solo-debuted vsinger in the EN branch, now a normal vtuber in the EN branch as part of Promise). The MV is just a short version, but the full song is worth listening too.
I also love the original more than the remaster for this song. Other than the reasons you've mentioned, there's also the removal of my favorite part which is the evil snicker right at the end. If you want to listen to more of Moona's musics she has two other English songs. They're "Who's Toxic? It's You!" and "Deja Vu." Meanwhile her newly released song, Multiverse, is a mix of English and Japanese. If you want to listen to her singing in her native language, she has two Indonesian songs so far, "Perisai Jitu" and "Taut Hati."
I also prefer original over remaster. I don't like these distortions and gluing frequencies. And pity that you haven't shown us your reaction to original. If you want more of Moona I would recommend Villain cover. Much better than original from KDA

Already did a video on Toxic at least 🤘
Yeah, I saw that just minutes after I posted the comment.😅
One of the best serious vtuber songs!
If you're doing more, I'll throw in a rec for Reaper vs. Sheep -Ouen ver. by Calli and Watame.
Red by Mori, and Carbonated Love by Irys are some ones you might find worth checking out.
hey Moona
I love this song!!!
My favorite vtuber songs are Reflect (Jazz version) by Gawr Gura and Shinkiro by Houshou Marine and Gawr Gura
Very good, but the remaster and original are reversed in the description
Bruh lmao
Will fix immediately
