I absolutely loved watching you go through things and reason through things. I find some things super easy to get rid of, but there are a few things that I struggle to know whether I should keep it or not. I thought you did great!
This gave me so much motivation, I've been slacking! Something that helps me toss toiletries and cleaning products is to remember they expire too. So if I've had anything for over a year or two, I toss. The kitchen is the hardest for me! I'm attached to everything. Also, Happy Birthday!!! 🎉
Happy Birthday! I was soooo happy to see this. After 2 hurricans in just a couple weeks, i am almost cross-eyed crazy stressed 🤯 8 on the bathroom declutter.
I needed this video so much and it was so motivating! I have a great lady that is an organizer and I can remember her in my kitchen asking so many of the same things your sister asked. My problem is I am 66 in bad health with psoriatic arthritis, lupus and bad back issues and my husband was just diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. So, I am feeling overwhelmed to get so much done and we are moving some rooms around. So, I am thankful for this great lady and she is going to help and do so much of the physical help I need. My advice to anyone is to stay on top of things and start young. Thanks for sharing Amanda! 😊❤😊

We've laughed many times at the possibility of how brutal they would be and that I would end up with just a plate, a cup and a spork in my kitchen if they helped me declutter. Wow!! You really did an awesome job. Having your sister really helped. I have areas I could declutter, but I'm healing from a broken leg. Also areas that are never used, like the cupboards above my fridge, I don't feel I need to waste my time cleaning. It's mostly the crystal stemware and is worth too much to send to Goodwill.

Wow! This was so motivational to me. I have lots of areas in my home that need this. Once the first of the year comes, I'll do this in my home. I think you did really well in doing your bathroom. I give you a 9 out of 10. What you kept was good because it was a backup to something you use. And extra of one or two things is good. There is a ton of items I can totally get rid of. You did a good job and look at all the cabinet or drawer space you gained. Your sister is right if you have 2 of something are you going to use them at the same time? No most likely not. I have 2 of things as well. I need to do this to my RV next summer especially my utensil drawers. I think when we have enough space - it's much easier to justify or rationalize keeping things vs it not being about space (obviously, when we run out of room that helps to push us) but as you said it's about whether an item is actually serving us - that's really the bottom line!!
