Wasabi under Gaoligong Mountain has strong and outstanding tastes. The leaves are very refreshing and crunchy. All parts of these plants are valuable. The leaves can be made into pickles. The roots and stems can be grounded into paste, which gives out a slight fragrance with just the right level of spiciness. Though it has a sharp taste, it is very overwhelming and addictive. Since there's newly burnt pork available, I ground some wasabi to make a dipping sauce. I also made some fungi sashimi and some snacks. It's good to enjoy a refreshing dinner together with my family.

Chinese cooking is less about the “dish” and more about the “technique”. There are broad categories of dish “types” but you can mix and match almost anything to your personal taste, as long as you know how to cook the individual ingredients appropriately. Because of this there is virtually an infinite number of “dishes” one can make if you’re willing to be creative.
Im watching these videos and feel so warm in my heart. Such a wonderful way of living surrounded by family, friendly neighbors and beautiful Dawang. When I was little Ive lived with my grandma in a small village, it really reminds me that. Thank you so much for making these ❤️

山葵的話應該並不普遍，是人工栽培的。雲南還是各類瓜果菌類比較多。
