thanks for the tutorial...the side mirror of my E36 was broken last week... i am still searching the spare part... your video gives me an idea. Greetings from Indonesia 👍👍
Kinda helped as I now know you can buy the glass separate...( my glass is shattered after a hit and run)😑 But I definitely gave it a thumbs up for your vibe, dude! Nice repair👌
Appreciate the video! Just came into possession of a 2002 325Ci as a project, and while i was moving it, the passenger mirror glass fell out and shattered on the ground 😂 This will still be helpful as I needed to know how to remove the mirror backing. Thanks!
hilarious LOL please make more videos youre a funny guy. ***a small tip (put masking tape on the mirror before removing just in case it breaks it will stay in one piece and you dont have to clean up a bunch of glass)
Not just a model of honesty but of clarity - it's really easy to follow the steps.

What type of loc-tite glue? What formula?
Sorry, no idea about the details. Just some slow-setting two part epoxy.
I ended up damaging the motor during the process but at least ive got a mirror now
fyi - wipe the glue off while its wet, don't use a file on plastic and scratch it all up :-(
mine flew off when I was driving about 150km/h...
