I am so impressed and inspired by Laura. Nothing phases her, she is so capable and hardworking, even with a newborn baby to care for. I am learning so much from you.
YES! I just had an incident with a neglected one in a new landscape situation. Can you say HUGE fire hazard when you don't maintain them and get that dried thatch outta there? ( I set it on fire, found out first hand how quickly it will go up fro the inside out. Now it is a manageable size and way better, wasn't my intention to do that and it was scary, but it was a good learning experience!)
Hi y’all, happy Friday! I love the fountain in that spot! Maybe Aaron needs to up light it? I also see cars and boats floating in the base in the future. 😊⛲️🏎⛵️
@@kera4759 I just love their babies!❤️. I tell Laura & Aaron often, they brought back to me the love of gardening. I feel so blessed to be part of their lives. This year I ordered seeds from PW & my veggies plants are looking awesome, can’t wait to plant them & I know I’m putting my local nurseries children & grandkids through college!! Hahahah
@maryanne - they have been such a value to me as well here in Philadelphia! Great inspiration and DIY. it’s really developed my knowledge of plants. Now i have quite the plant collection in my little neighborhood! Growing plenty of food and flowers. Starting seeds and all! It’s fantastic!
Hi Laura and Aaron! 👋 Benjamin and Samantha Grace are so very fortunate to be growing up with such wonderful memories and in the very magical place you’re creating. Seeing Benjamin playing near the fountain, I can’t imagine the fun make believe things they will imagine up in your landscape. What a wonderful childhood they are bound to have! 💗✨💫✨💗
Good morning, Laura ☕️ Unique Stone has done it again! That fountain ⛲️ is gorgeous!!😍 The view from your kitchen window is beautiful. Doing the dishes won’t be so bad now! Thanks for the sneak peek at Samantha Grace; her lil smile was adorable. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
Maybe the Hebe fountain can go back by the sun porch. I loved the smile Benjamin gave. Samantha Grace is such a sweet beautiful baby. Thank you once again for sharing our projects, your home and your family with us. Much love!
Morning,...Does anyone else wonder how does laura have so much knowledge about different garden related topics...I know she grew up in the industry but its still alot.Good thing she shares it
I remember watching video of her with waders on in the GC pond. I love that she modifies the stopper with the drill and knife. God Bless her Mom and Dad. They were excellent teachers.
Wow! Talk about overcoming obstacles and persisting through setbacks! Where I would have given up and set it aside for another day, you kept going trying to find other solutions, very encouraging!
What a treat! The sound of a fountain, Benjamin looking so adorable and content and seeing Samantha Grace 😍, and let's not forget the education we got from Laura setting up a fountain. How can one go wrong? Loved it. Thank you Laura ❣
I am so glad you showed the whole process, from trying to piecemeal parts for the fountain, to moving it from one location to another because it just didn't compliment the flowerbed, to starting and stopping pump to correct overflow issues. This is a reality for many gardeners and seeing you face each hurdle with patience and determination is such a confidence booster. Thank you.
This fountain looks fantastic. Looking from your kitchen window, it struck me that the view would be magical at night with a light highlighting the fountain. Just a suggestion. I loved going through the part sourcing and troubleshooting process with you. I also loved how this was a family project: Aaron, Paul (an unofficial member of the family), Russell, Benjamin and Samantha Grace.
This was by far my favorite video. Your husband is so patient. You are a boss of a mom, Russel is such a lovely cat and has a beauty of a family. I think the sound therapy for your children is lovely and for yourselves as well. I was so cheering right along with you to have the flow. I am so impressed with your vision and your calmness in executing each project. It makes us all feel like we're in it together because it's life, children, nature and joy all combined. Thank you for sharing your journey and talent. I take away so much from watching you and I try my best with 3 under 5 to be even half of the rockstar that you are. Your baby is gorgeous and your son is so sweet.
More RELATABLE content, LOL the relationship posts as I like to call them, always make me smile. :) That dynamic of spouse to spouse in deciding things, considering and then changing our mind and moving it about. I'm very like that as well, being a visual person, I'll sketch and draw out a plan but until it is in situe I just don't know. Also I have even MORE statue/fountain/garden ornament envy now. I still LOVED the circle path you made with the birdbath/planter on the side lined with brick and gravel. It is SO like an English country house feel and that colour way of that planter is my WISH LIST colour for when I can finally get my First piece from Unique stone...Goals. As always, love your channel and your family is so sweet and again...relatable content :)
Look online for “fountain string rocks”. You will be shocked at how much those silly things reduce the splatter. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!! Here’s to a chaotic spring!!
Great video guys! My heart skipped a beat there for a second when it looked like Aaron might hit the frost free behind the barn with the tractor!😳 Wish I could drive a tractor with precision like that!!😎
The water fountain ⛲️ is just Lovely! I appreciate the sound of water so much, we actually have a very small water fountain in our home. It’s soothing and calming.
Halfway through when Laura changed the placement of the fountain I just had to stop the video and make this comment. .. Geez, Aaron has to be the most easy-going husband I've ever seen! His perfectly content smile of acceptance when told that he's going to be moving that heavy-ass concrete fountain to a different spot behind the house, lol. I had a good chuckle about that. But honestly, it's a joy to see to people work together with such obvious love and patience for each other. Thanks for sharing another great video with us!
Love it! Happy accident... Yeah, that is just fine! It's beautiful outside your kitchen window. I know y'all will have much pleasure from that little garden nymph. ENJOY! I know I enjoyed watching the process and I'm continually inspired by you and Aaron. Benjamin was so funny with the splashed of water and Samantha Grace is simply precious! I love my favorite gardening family!!!❤🙂🙏
⛲ "Whoop, there it is" says Aaron when the fountain works. I just wanna get in there and help you guys with everything you are doing. Gahh! I love the processes, the digging, construction, the beautiful flowers, trees, bushes, structures. It's life and living: kids, family, pets, gardening, and all. Thanks for inspiring us!
Love finding this older video. Really neat seeing the yard in an older version to compare with current yard and surroundings areas. You have done so much work. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the suggestion of silicon for the drip points on the fountain. I immediately went out and put silicon on my fountain. The water is spilling out perfectly now.
I can’t be the only one who noticed that Aaron and Laura were wearing matching-style shirts...I was like, “How adorable! Twinsies!”. Then I saw Paul. No way! Triplets!? 💚😍💚
As much I love fountains today’s video show me how difficult it is to install and maintain them. Bless you for the stamina and work ethic to make things beautiful.
It's the perfect spot, looks beautiful! Reassuring to see several attempts and back and forth trips to the hardware store doesn't just happen to rest of us!
Love the troubleshooting and how everything isn't prefect at first. Finding the right placement is important for the best enjoyment. Tips are great. Enjoy the sights and sound.
Good decision moving the fountain to the back....particularly with everything going on in the front. The trees are a better backdrop for it than the house 👏
Really enjoyed watching the thought process, slips and accomplishment at the end. Can’t stop thinking to myself how wonderful to watch a husband and wife work together, I mean there’s Laura dragging the heavy cart, no second thought as to who would pull it around. Bravo to teamwork...my house, it would not have gone that way. Aaron is such a soft spoken, good guy.
I really appreciate that you share ALL the problems and second guessing you do with your projects. It's real life and very reassuring to know that us novice gardeners aren't the only ones who often rethink, don't have the right supplies and need to do things half a dozen times. Thank you! Love the fountain and its ultimate location.
I love that it ended up where you can see it from the kitchen! Although I wasn't sure it was going to make it anywhere when you started to pull the wagon with the bowl on it! I gasped out loud when the wagon tipped up!! It's beautiful and I think everyone will enjoy it including Benjamin, the cats and maybe some birds when Benjamin and the cats aren't around. It was fun to see Samantha Grace and her beautiful smile! 💖😀👍
I so love watching all the mismatched concrete and pavers going away. I mean, its always nice not to have to walk on dirt or mud but your vision of everything matching is dear to my heart. I am so glad we get to take this journey with you. Looking forward to the green house and the wrap around porch and I love that you (and Aaron) are long range planners. Thank you.
You are one determined girl Laura! 😁Thanks for showing us the inside view from your kitchen of that fountain! What a lovely view! Perfect! I found myself agreeing out loud with you that it was a great place for the fountain, like we were visiting in person❤️☺️
Good morning from Windermere, Florida zone 9b 🌞 It is supposed to hit 90°! We are cleaning out our 2 fountains and the 2 40 gal water rocks. I laugh when neighbors walk by and we are sitting on the porch with coffee and they admire the plants, blooms and water sounds. And they say, "Gee, this must be a lot of work." 🤣🤣🤣 Naw...it's a 5 minute job! We're 70 and I can tell you little job are big jobs. God bless you all 💕
I have the top portion Child holding bowl but, one Spring I found it with the top bowl broken. It killed me when I saw it.So now I just put a pot on top/ metal rod goes through bottom of pot to hold it.Plant some favorite annuals ,and still enjoy it. I love watching you,and energy, creativity, you so remind me of myself at that age.I couldn’t do enough in a day! I’m 73, been gardening for 50 years, and still with less energy, and some health problems now and then,my yard is still an eye stopper.I have a very English garden, great architectural pieces and containers. I’ m not the normal yard on the street, and no matter how old I get,I still change things, add things.I love architectural columns, copper pots, very fancy architectural arbor with what had been a charming Picked fence that we designed ourselves, and cut 246 pickets that surrounded our front yard. Our home is now 40 years old,A New England Saltbox style.Last year to ease our maintenance.,we had installed a black iron fence, with fleur de Les tops and circles adorned. So my cottage look, turned into ,that very elegant English look I have admired since a trip to England in 1987. Please keep these wonderful videos coming,I love watching them, your energy, your cute little guy, that try’s to help Mom out.I see, your beautiful new addition, baby girl.Such a sweet family,God Bless you !
Working in your parent's Garden Center as a kid, we all need that experience. Learning stuff at 14yrs. old becomes handy 15-18 yrs. later. Who would have "THUNK IT"! 😘🃏😉🤹🏋
That area looks complete now with the fountain. So beautiful!! I am once again inspired by you Laura, this time to get some water sounds in my garden. Let the fountain hunt begin... ⚘⛲
Hi guys. Has anyone looked at that cutie that is standing by d fountain isnt he sweet i love how he is always there with his mamma encorageing her to be outdoors with him. Laura girl i am slowing down on my gardening because of my knees its paining alot now so i hve to space out my gardening days but i will take joy in watching you n aaron n my sweetheart Bengie.
Laura I watch you in the garden all the time and love all you do. Please protect your back. Aaron too. I hurt my back and could not work in my gardens at all last year so I hope you never have that problem. I was so much like you lifting and digging not thinking of what could happen. It is just the mother in me caring for my friend.Mary
Love your new fountain. ⛲ There's just something so relaxing about the sound of water. 🤗 Love your sweet little family. 👨👩👧👦 🐱🐈Y'all do good! 👍🏻 Sending blessings, good energy, and love your way...!!!! 🙏🏻🙌🏻❤
Good 🌄 morning everyone! Tried to watch this 3 times! Finally got to see it all the way threw! 😀😃😄😁🥰 It is beautiful. Loved seeing ❤ the kids. He looks like he is enjoying the ⛲ very much. What a view from your kitchen window. Lovely!
What I enjoy the most about this channel is that you keep things simple. It inspires me to know that I can do it too! Because of this channel and Epic Gardening, I’ve started a garden for the first time. Thanks for helping me get out of my head and just do the dang thing 💪🏼
Serendipitous (aka happy accident) is the word! Life sometimes shows us that our second choice can be the best choice! Viewing this multiple times everyday will bring even more beauty and joy to you I think.
Good morning Garden Answer community. 🙂 🌿🪴🌱⛲️ I so needed to see this today. Creating beauty amongst the chaos. Despite being surrounded by construction, you've created beauty just outside your kitchen window. I love this so much. 🌿⛲️💚💚💚
I'm sure every single viewer went ohohohoh when that cart started to tip!! That would have been extremely sad if not fallen and broken. So thankful it didn't. I love how you want to focus on what's pretty and beautiful and pleasing right now in the midst of all the chaos I know people. Keep at it and keep encouraging us to do the same. Working in my yard gives much pleasure and helps when things in life are tough. God bless you both!!
I absolutely love where you ended up putting your fountain! It’s perhaps just a wee bit on the loud side but very beautiful. Love how you tackled the project and got there in the end! Will you show us briefly whether the water deflection worked?
Hi Laura I admire your passion and patience in creating beautiful garden structures! Aaron is highly supportive. You bring us joy! Benjamin and Samantha Grace are adorable!
That selection of rubber stoppers at your hardware store is FANTASTIC. Organized and neatly labeled. I’ll have to tag you in a picture of my local hardware stores selection. Brutal! Haha
Yeah, well, customers aren't considerate when it comes to putting things back where they found them. Ever go to the supermarket and see a bag of potato chips in the ice cream freezer? I have.
I love ❤️ watching how you guys trouble shoot problems!! You let us see that not every project is trouble free..You have amazing energy Laura and not afraid to tackle what you want to do!! Love ❤️ the fountain..
I think it will be a blessing for you to be able to focus on spring, summer, fall and winter interest on the gardens and area that aren’t tore up right now and make them your own instead of managing what was there previously. Tear out whatever you don’t like and don’t want and get it to where it truly reflects you and your style.
I can see how you are having a hard time with all the stuff going on . Your yard is beautiful and I totally appreciate that you take us along on this journey. If we only saw the successes then we would never learn how to keep going. I follow a breeder of dogs who owns a big pack of them. One of the things i am so thankful for is she shows her failures right along with the successes. I will say again that in my dreams i want the relationship you and Aaron have. It is special. You work so well together.
perfect placement!! i love her there, and how refreshing to hear that sound and see that water spilling over on a hot summer's day... the plants will appreciate the bit of splashing, too... Benjamin and Samantha Grace are just too adorable ...love Russell completely bombing the camera to supervise... your patience with this kind of project is amazing... and so worth the effort...thanks for the video!!
Good morning! My mom and I live 1500 miles apart and we love to watch your videos together 💛🌸🌺 we chat about it every day

That fountain placement outside your kitchen must be so peaceful!
"Focus on the beauty"... a choice that would make each day so much better in this crazy world we live in today! 😁
Another good quote for a t-shirt or "Laura-style" mug!
Oh! Thats so beautiful, such a lovely saying. Yes yes a t-shirt 👕 & a big mug for tea or coffee! 😆😅❤❤❤💙💙💙💙💙💙🤗🤭

Inspector Russell on the scene with his handy sidekick Benjamin! What a beautiful fountain, have a great weekend everyone!

Russell's photo bomb at 18:06 was the cutest thing ever!!😸😸😸
He kept on posing at the back of the fountain and no one was paying attention to him. So, he decided to come forward. 🤣🤣🤣 Love that cat 🐈
My favorite part! Plus, Laura's reaction is classic.
That’s the moment I cracked up :D
Laura: "Russell what r u doing?"
Russell: "The 🌟 Star has arrived!"
He made me laugh! He's so funny
Love Russel’s curiosity. He adds so much real life to the projects. He brings playfulness.

I laugh when neighbors walk by and we are sitting on the porch with coffee and they admire the plants, blooms and water sounds. And they say, "Gee, this must be a lot of work."
🤣🤣🤣 Naw...it's a 5 minute job!
Very pretty fountain. Benjamin sure loved it also. That was so cute how he reacted😊👍❣️Well he’s got good taste!😁
Wo, is universal for stop. Love it lol.
Aaron “…because you’re a beast…” 😁
Hi guys. Has anyone looked at that cutie that is standing by d fountain isnt he sweet i love how he is always there with his mamma encorageing her to be outdoors with him.
Lovely!
Benjamin 👑🐸🐱
So precious ♥️♥️
What I enjoy the most about this channel is that you keep things simple. It inspires me to know that I can do it too! Because of this channel and Epic Gardening, I’ve started a garden for the first time. Thanks for helping me get out of my head and just do the dang thing 💪🏼
Serendipitous (aka happy accident) is the word! Life sometimes shows us that our second choice can be the best choice! Viewing this multiple times everyday will bring even more beauty and joy to you I think.
I should have used that when one of my kids asked if he was an accident. 😊
Good morning Garden Answer community. 🙂 🌿🪴🌱⛲️
I so needed to see this today.
Russell the muscle 😄 always there just when you need him!
I love how handy you are! We don’t get to see self confident women doing these sort of projects often
When you pull the wagon, and it popped a wheelie, I gasped.
It’s really looking good, I can’t wait to see your summer garden tour. 🪴⛲️☀️
I really admire your patience and persistence. That was a long arduous process but the results are definitely worth it😊.
Love that you show the reality of gardening projects. Fun to see your family working together in the the yard!
The kids...the fountain...Aaron....Russell....LOVE THIS! thank you Laura. You ARE one persistent little lady! :)
Everything happens for a reason. It looks great in that spot. I love the fact you do real live videos showing what really happens . Thank You
Me too! Some things take forever and several hardware store trips. So appreciate the realism from Aaron & Laura! And, the consistent positive outlook.
I love that fountain! The many attempts to get to the finish line! Love the final location! That waterfall sound is so soothing!💦⛲💗
Good Morning!! The fountain looks beautiful! It looked even more precious with Liitle hands in there! Lol!♥️
"Focus on the beauty" - words to live by. Thanks!
perfect placement!! i love her there, and how refreshing to hear that sound and see that water spilling over on a hot summer's day... the plants will appreciate the bit of splashing, too... Benjamin and Samantha Grace are just too adorable ...love Russell completely bombing the camera to supervise... your patience with this kind of project is amazing... and so worth the effort...thanks for the video!!
Such a pretty fountain and just think how beautiful it will look when all those bulbs bloom! 😊
