Young lady, you truly do amaze me your energy and knowledge are remarkable! I’m a 76 year old widow and I live vicariously through you and your busy life!, I’ve adopted you and your precious family and must view your video with my first cuppa coffee each morning! Thank you so very much for the brightening my days! May God bless you abundantly.
Does anyone else feel like after watching Laura accomplish so much in a video that YOU somehow also accomplished something and then you look out your window and think oh man I have some work to do? 🤔 Love this channel, so inspiring 🌱
I always get motivated after watching! Sometimes when I need to get something done, I pop on a video, and after like 3 minutes, I'm like "Ok I'm ready to get to work!"
Laura takes the time to work with Benjamin and you can see how he picks up on learning what hard work and satisfaction in the garden is all about! He so wants to be part of the process. There is no classroom in the world that can teach a child what he is learning. His teachers are his parents, who are great examples of family, hard work, and determination. We can all learn something from their work ethics.
The pallet walkway is in a totally different spot than what I thought. With so much of the old structure gone I am getting a much better feeling for your yard. I think the pallet walkway is a definite good feature, not every walkway needs to be brick.
When my two year old saw Laura cleaning and brushing the pineapple foundation he ran up to the tv and opened his mouth...so Laura could brush his teeth while she’s at it 😆
"I was trying to be more organized and now I don't even know where to look for them" My life! I spend more time looking for things than I like! I have so much to get done in my garden, with spring finally showing itself here in the Pacific Northwest. You are such an inspiration, and even though I want to just sit here and watch more videos, you make me want to get off my chair and outside! (well, as soon as it gets light out!)
When you splashed the camera with water I laughed and thought “Aaron look away”🤣🤣 then you splashed Benjamin I laughed a little not much 🤣🤣 all the cute little accidents that happen while getting jobs done!! Thank you for sharing your day with us!! Take care!
Yep. I muttered "cha-ching" when the camera got splashed, lol. They probably have stroke marks on a wall somewhere with the number of cameras she's trashed, ha ha ha ha....
Thank you so much for your videos! 💚 They really keep me going and my garden is getting better everyday. Today I will be planting my small vegetable garden, it will be fun! Happy Easter to you and your family, and to all my fellow viewers.🐰🌷
I just bought my first fountain last weekend!! My husband and I wouldn’t have set it up well if hadn’t been for your video on your fountain in the driveway surrounded by guara. It is beautiful and level. Plus you have really demystified what it takes to take care of a fountain over the years. Thank you so much for your videos!!
Watching the little dude put whatever in the gator was so cute. It showed me that you both don't sweat the small stuff. You lifted Benjamin's spirit because he thought he was helping.
Mummy Laura says," we'll put the tools away after",little boy Ben says "No" ! Seriously I think it's great how you're lettiing Ben handle all the tools, even the dangerous ones, that auger!,he's unconsciously building up a familiarity with them so in time he'll be able to work with them capably.
Benjamin is throwing things in like a pro. His attitude is like 'o come on i know what I am doing, why are you even asking me. '. Love you Benjamin. Beautiful flowers as always.
Benjamin is just about ready to take over filming , recording and the entire works !!! That's how children learn , by watching their parents . Tfs - great job Benjamin !!!
Oh, that sad sad look on Benjamin’s face when Laura told him that you always have to put your tools away when you were done working.. Such a great little helper. Loved the wind maker ride for the kite.
I'm glad she I teaching him that you have to put then away when you get them out too, instead of just saying "you don't want to do that? Ok.." great lessons! (Not that he has to be taught them that young but I think its good)
The first ever video I watched of yours was the palette walkway video. How has it been four years since then???? I have never missed a Garden Answer video and I am so grateful for you all!
I'm so excited to watch this! My morning routine -wake up early to tendnto dogs while kids an husband are asleep, then check to see if Garden Answer Laura has posted, watching with excitement! 😍
The pallet walkway is truly looking good. I’m glad it’s still hanging on. Its one of my favorites. Also, making videos is your livelihood, but it’s so awesome you and Aaron take time to (during videos), to fly kites, let him load tools, you enjoy him as I know you will with. Samantha Grace. Your videos are so lovely and your family is loving. Thank you.
I’m one of those who thought the pallet walkway needed boat varnish. Being from completely rain drenched Western Oregon it’s really hard to imagine how dry your climate is. But that walkway is still gorgeous. Also has it been 4 years already? Time flies.
Good Morning Laura 😃 This year, is the first year that I’m super excited for Spring temps to arrive. While I’m not a beginner, (I’ve planted veggies in our raised beds in years past), I’ve never started seeds before! AND... My hubs & I are now witnessing those seedlings peeking through the soil!!! 👏🏼🤗👏🏼 Thankful for all your video content to bring guidance to us all! It’s pretty awesome to watch you walk out your passion & help others as well. 💛 Enjoy Your Saturday!
I work in cemetery conservation and I have a suggestion for a product to help clean your fountains and statuary: D/2. We use it all the time to clean dirt, lichens, and algae off of old headstones. It’s a mild quaternary ammonium solution and is very safe around plants, pets, and kids. And it works over time to keep stone, masonry, and concrete looking nice. It’s what they use to clean all the headstones at Arlington as well as to keep the White House looking white and clean the Washington Monument. I know I sound like a giant D/2 apologist but most cemetery folks are. It’s the only product approved by the National Center for Preservation Training and Technologies to clean historic stone and masonry.
I don’t eat onions but bought some candied onions today to try to grow because of you. Family likes onions, I do not though made some salsa last year with an onion, my roasted Roma tomatoes , jalapeños and my garlic all from the garden. 😃
Good morning all! Is there anything you can't do Laura!! Getting the fountains up and running, the sound from the water lightly splashing is always so relaxing and restful for me. Have a lovely Easter weekend with your beautiful family!🐰🐥🌷
I’m going out on a vulnerability limb to say that I’ve had some pretty crippling anxiety during this pandemic - especially the last couple months. Turning on your channel is such an amazing help for me. Watching you joyfully tackle doing hard things is so refreshing and motivating. Thank you for working so hard to provide such quality, therapeutic content for us/me🙂. So grateful for it. 🤍🤍
Laura, you crack me up. You have that special touch. Just smack the pump. Love it! Your so real! That's what makes this You tube channel so great to watch. Give me belly laughs. Have a Blessed Easter.💜
Those video's are therapy never in a million years did i ever thought garden video's will give me such thrill. 🥰 i look forward to your video's everyday
I have started following the work zone program. It doesn’t wear me out trying to do it all in one day. Plus it also helps me see what I want to do in each section. And I don’t spend a ton of money at one time. Thanks Laura🌺🌸🌼🌻
Love the fountains. The sound of the running water is so calming to listen to. The pineappple fountain looked a lot better after scrubbing it with a brush. Benjamin is going to be a big helper! 🥰
Laura your videos are sooo motivating! 😁 Sometimes, when I need to get something done gardening-wise, I pop on a video, and after like 3 minutes, I'm like "Ok I'm ready to get to work!"
So I am sitting here listening to the lovely sound of my DIY fountain that you showed in one of your first videos. I’ve got my drip system hooked up and ran it for the first time this season. Brought some bulbs and dahlias I started inside out onto my patio. Tulips and daffodils are blooming! Feels like a Garden Answer kind of day!
I'm excited to see everything start to bloom. I can't wait to do some of my planting. It's a bit cold in NJ at the moment. I so enjoy watching you and Aaron and your interaction with Benjamin! He's a cute little boy! Hope we get to see Samantha Grace soon.
The look of betrayal at life on Benjamin's face when you explained that what you take out you have to put back was priceless. Wait until he hears about the whole adulting thing :D Regarding the hard water deposits in the pumps, could you run the pumps for a couple of days prior to setup in a bucket with vinegar+water?
Oh yeah or Lime away! I do that to all my faucets & shower heads to keep them running right. Hard water is the bane of my existence!!!! LOL LOL!!! I just did the baking soda, vinegar & hot water down my drains to keep my pipes clean also. It keeps my pipes clean as a whissel. Thank you, I do not want to ever have to have new pipes laid. My Aunt had to have that done. It cost a fortune & just wrecked her yard. The plumber told her that trick. Geeezzz was that expensive!!!!
Good morning everyone! This is such a great day- this video is like Saturday morning cartoons for adults! I have been moving plants around as well, and my husband always says I'll kill them. So I had him watch your video, and he stopped complaining about it too. Lol. Benjamin gathering tools and helping is so sweet. 💖 Question- Will the plants still bloom up or leaf out after being moved this year? Or will we forgo blooms this year because of the transplant? Thank you Laura, you've made my morning coffee and waking up a treat.
Hi Laura, when we direct seeded (back at the days) :) my father used to cover them with clear plastic you can use ordinary not heavy duty, just till they germinate, so you dont need to water so often.
Thanks Maia- you just taught me something I really wanted to know! I’m going to use your father’s technique on forget-me-not seeds and dill seeds later today.
Great video as always. I cut some chives from my garden this morning and chopped them up and added them to my scrambled eggs. I was so proud of myself. All my plants are doing well since I learned so much from Laura and this channel.
i love those fountains... that 3-tiered fountain is absolutely magnificent... your comfort level with maintenance on various 'equipment' around your property is enviable... love love LOVE Benjamin helping you and loading some tools for his daddy... ever so cute.. i sure hope you didn't lose seeds in that wind storm, ugh... wind.... i'm trying to up my "productiveness' around here after watching you... i move in slow motion it seems, lol... but just another way you inspire me!! just keep moving and doing out there ... thanks for the video!!
Beautiful fountain, but you are brave sticking your bare hand inside that spider den! I put up little solar fountains for the birds this year. I just learned about solar fountains. They do make a wonderful sound. Benjamin is so cute. He is just grabbing up tools for dad. LOL.
I love fountains, they are so soothing! Benjamin is quite the helper! Wow you are getting a lot accomplished! Love those flowers that you planted! HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!!! 😃🐰🐇🐥🐣🐤🌸🌷
I won a fountain cover from your channel a few years ago and it's working great! We uncovered our fountain on Easter Sunday and the sound is wonderful. Happy Spring!
How can there be 23 that don't like this video, really? Learning about new plants and what an assortment, so gorgeous. I have known about them, but forget some of them as I don't grown each flower. Anemones are one of my favorites. I have to remind my hubs. that its a plant to keep; sometimes he helps pull weeds and he pulls it out by mistake....lol Who doesn't love Gator driving kite flying.....too fun!
Love the Columbine, also the anemone are lovely! The huge(first) fountain has a beautiful shape. I am recording all the plants & flowers I like and want to plant at my new place when I move. Your information and beautiful display of these are delightful and helpful. Thank you.
Happy Easter Garden Answer Tribe! I wish I had thought to pull out my auger when planting 30 hosta last week around my maples, duh 🙄 😂 Woke up to a frigid 23 degrees this morning and hoping my spring flowers and bulbs bounce back after they thaw.
It is nice to go back a year to see what you have planted in passed years. Collembine yellow is awesome, in my area they spread widely with there seeds. Thanks to you both for awesome vedios.
I’ve never had that hard of water but for what little I have, I use a vinegar and water solution that removes the hard water. Don’t know if it will harm the pump to put it in a bucket of the solution to descale it. Love seeing the fountains going and new plants getting their home. Benjamin is such a joy to watch. Hearing that laughter with the kite is the best! Have a blessed Easter.
Love seeing you plant color! I was at the nursery today and all I could splurge on was pansies! 2 more weeks before the fun begins! The little boy giggles as you drove the kite made me smile! Happy Easter!
Wonderful words: "Hey Guys, how's it going?" Sad words: "Well guys, that's it for the day!" Thanks for another great video😀
That’s so funny!! 😂Yes, we alllllll share in that sentiment! I hope Aaron picks this as “top comment”. 👍 Happy Easter!
Yes!
Totally!! Exactly what I feel (sadness) when Laura says “well guys, that’s it for the day” 😭😭😭😭

Connie, I am 73 and usually do the same. Laura reminds me of my youth and strong body. Gravity does take its toll. She always makes me smile!
It surely is a reminder!! I wish there there would have been a “Laura and Garden Answer” in those days, too! From the Omaha area.
Amen to that!! Me too❤️

Love watching Laura in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. A bit jealous of their weather, woke up to 27 degrees outside. 🥶
23 degrees this morning in NJ. The spring flowers are frozen 🥶

Anemones are one of my favorites. I have to remind my hubs. that its a plant to keep; sometimes he helps pull weeds and he pulls it out by mistake....lol Who doesn't love Gator driving kite flying.....too fun!
I watch ur videos every morning while I drink my coffee. It just makes me happy, you have a beautiful family and of course garden! 🌸
So helpful, thank you. So chilled to watch - no worries about dirt moustache etc. Lovely.
One of my favorite things ALL YEAR is watching Laura get the fountains up and running. I hold my breath every time, ha!
I used onions and green onions to avoid insects and animals. I know you can deal with lime by using vinaiger.
Love seeing you plant color! I was at the nursery today and all I could splurge on was pansies! 2 more weeks before the fun begins! The little boy giggles as you drove the kite made me smile! Happy Easter!
Goodmorning from Ohio💜 I wish I could have a Pallet Walkway!!!
I loved hearing Benjamin's laughter when Aaron was 'creating wind' for the kite!
Hello how are you doing today 💖
Such a fun video for Saturday morning. Love all the onions and flowers. Love Benjamin and his kite. Have a great weekend
