      You were laying down multiple layers of an underlayment other than the rubber/ plastic liner. What was it for? Just to catch the pea gravel?

    I think this is my favourite water feature design, chunky blocks of flat stone that creates a nice set of surfaces for the water to run over with the additional bonus of chuckling water sounds.

    Nice water feature. I think I'd put the pump in back, under a slab that was more easily removed. That impeller is going to foul and need cleaning and those little pumps don't last forever. (keeper of ponds X 30 years now)

  • @Raenman66
    @Raenman66 Год назад +19

    Yesssss...thank you. This is refreshing. I get all the information that I need and want without the annoying repetitive music and narration filled with the incessant "uhmm"s or the attempts to sound "cool" (or whatever the current equivalent term is). In addition, you speed up the repetitive activity such as shoveling. This is very considerate; we all know how to shovel. Keep up the good work. We appreciate it.

      Yea I really enjoy the videos that just show the work without the nonsense. Even when I narrate and explain in my videos I try to keep it relevant. I plan on making more Not Talking or Music videos this summer. Waiting on the Ice to leave.

    I like it, and also appreciated the no music to it. The only thing that I would do differently is an easy access to the pump, since you never know how long it will last. Another feature that I add to my fountains is a Floater connected to the water valve so that I don't have to worry about refilling the reservoir since water tends to evaporate. Other than that, BEAUTIFUL.

    I've been comparing ideas for a small water feature in our garden. Nice looking project. Simple, neat, natural looking. I agree with one comment--I would pay another $35 for a 45 mil EDPM heavy duty pond liner. This needs to last for many years, and changing it out would be a disaster. Even the reviewers on Amazon complain that this thin, PVC liner was punctured under careful handling. Buy once: cry once.

      The milk crates will fail. Should you attempt, I’d recommend aquablocks they will hold more weight and will not break. I am a woman, and made a 25’ pondless waterfall at my property. I spent in total, 2500 and ended up with a 35k project. It’s import to buy good underlayment and a high quality pond liner. Don’t use milk crates they will fail. Good luck😊
