Sorry, another question... I'm trying to scale the rocks to the size of the feature. How long and how wide is your entire feature? And what are the approximate dimensions (LxWxH) of the largest rocks in it? The idea here is that, for a similar authentic look, a feature half the size would have rocks half the size. The space I have is roughly 2.5m from front to back, and 3.5m left to right, so it's kind of rotated 90deg from the norm, but that's the space available. I think to have a feature that reaches about 600mm high (about 2 feet in archaic measurement terms), but that could change. What size should the largest rocks be to make that look in proportion?
Any construction of this nature will accumulate mud in the reservoir. How do you clear that out and how do you protect your pump from becoming clogged and / or damaged by the mud?
The pump vault does require cleaning but based on what we've seen so far it should only be an annual maintenance check and removing the small rocks covering the pump vault lid is easy enough. Thanks for watching!
Great job, boys. 👍 👌 I like the placement; nestled between both trees was a good idea. Any plans to finish landscaping the rest of the backyard, at least the areas surrounding the feature?
Thank you! For sure! We plan to fill most of the empty space with ground cover and shrubs to really fill it out nicely little by little. Thanks for watching!
God thank you! For once someone actually shows How the set up works! Hundreds of videos on youtube of people showing off their pretty little waterfalls and I DONT GIVE A DAMN! then THEY just casually mention, 'oh yeah that's where you know all the pump and stuff goes', as if everyone already knows how to set the damn system up!I Was becoming so incredibly irritated that no one bothered to actually show how you would set up the pump vault and the water storage modules! Thank you
Again! Imagination comes to life. And it looks so natural like it was there originally as part of the ground.. great job!!
Thanks for this. Your video is the most helpful of several that I found. Much appreciated.
Great video

you always start up the stream & work downwards?
