Dr Phil grew up dealing with crippling poverty and an alcoholic father. While he worked two paper routes at the age of 12 to help put food on the table, he was also a bit of a badass. At 13 and 14 years old, he would and his friends would often go on late night joyrides. He'd find a more productive outlet for his aggression playing football, and manged to get into university on an athletic scholarship, before switching his focus to psychology. But before finding fame and fortune as the host of the dr phil show, he would go through several unsatisfying careers, a dangerous brush with partial blindness, and a failed marriage.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion it's just life. We don't all like the same people but DR. Phil he just doesn't sugar coat anymore and you shouldn't. It all comes out in the wash like Miranda Lambert's song says lol and it's true. No reason to lie becsuse eventually the truth always previews always. People say you should go with your gut feeling because your heart is stupid and I thought that was kinda harsh but such is life. You can't kill a good heart ,your just more careful is all and know what's up already, you live and learn and some people do it the easy or hard way and life is just one big stress ball if you let it get to you. Always think positive and be the best that you can always be.

( I have lived in Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, and Arizona since then), and still have a trace of my first seven years. I direct them to Dr. Phil, if they have any comment on my accent. Dr. Phil has the ultimate Oklahoma accent. Whenever I hear him talk, I get tears of nostalgia. When I heard the news reports of the attack on the Murrah Federal center, I grieved for the voices of the OKC residents who were describing their losses. Thanks, Dr. Phil.
