I know some people used superglue and baking soda to fill up some gaps where there are contours. What did you use to fill up gaps because it all looks white.
+Goto Bad oh ok was it called m1911 redux? I've been wanting to start a project like this I've just never had the time. Maybe over Christmas break or something.
+AlphaKid yes, used m1911 redux and older version too. Like this historypistols.ru/blog/%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8/chertezhi-pistoleta-kolt-m1911-a1/
I have just one question. How did you get the Upper Part of the Magazine curved inwards? Im making one as well but im struggling at this point. And advice?
+Hoots die Eule There is no difficulty in shaping paper before soaking it with superglue. You can also apply precuts on curved surface like here s017.radikal.ru/i410/1512/c9/067d8b9878f4.jpg it will help to bend easier
+Goto Bad I understand, that you have to bend it before asseembly but how did you make it so similar on both sides did u use a wooden mold or something? And does the mag consist out of 2 parts ,the back part (back + right side and left side) and the curved part in the front? Is it glued together?
+Hoots die Eule i used cardboard mold only-paper.ru/_fr/182/3513837.jpg but it is not for those curved parts. it is for better shape overall. Used template from here only-paper.ru/news/colt_1911_a1_stvoly_i_puli_01/2012-06-13-8119 it is not as precise as i needed so had to modify it according to blueprints. i used only two layers of paper because magazine walls are so thin. First (internal) layer is from thin 0.35 mm cardboard. External layer is dense 0.25mm paper. Those curved parts came out so good because i bent them before covering with superglue. It is important to form paper to that point that is is without gluing has a needed shape. Back side of magazine, when glued to those 2 pieces is a good support. Only after internal layer is formed and glued together it had being covered with superglue and filed. Same with the second layer, but glued it on the first one. All gluing processes are made with glue simmilar to Elmer's. Superglue used only for covering surfaces. If you already made magazine, but cant bend those parts i propose you to do precuts on them, like in previous message. Sorry for my english.
this is the definition of a perfect paper 1911. goodjob man and keep up the good work!!!!
+Paper Gun Building Thank you
Замечательная работа! Детализирован, как нельзя лучше!
put a little gunpowder in the shells then make it actually fire but not any where lethal
Brilliant work
That is even more functional than my 11$ metal airsoft gun
PonDiePie were did you buy it
How exactly are the individual parts made out of paper..? Everything sounds like plastic.
Great design😃😃😃
You should start selling those
Шикарная работа, а какой вес у сей работы? Очень интересно)
What tint you use for this weapon ?
Is this real weapon or what?
May I ask where the blueprint is located?
Очень красиво
Bella linda hermosa
What Glue do you use? Do you use Superglue only on certain parts or for the entire 1911?
+Hoots die Eule All gluing processes are made with glue similar to Elmer's. Superglue used only for covering surfaces.
Как накладки на рукоять сделаны? У меня только две догадки: это сплетенная в сетку и приклееная прововолка или 3д принтер. Так что это????
Антимоскитная сетка
@@gotobad7736 хахахахах, я позже так и думал
How long did this take you ?
Extremely heavy paper. It even sounds like metal… wrapped in paper…
I know some people used superglue and baking soda to fill up some gaps where there are contours. What did you use to fill up gaps because it all looks white.
+AlphaKid i didnt have gaps so almost no baking soda
+Goto Bad hey also did you use the blueprints for the paperguns.ru site, the one that JOHNNYGUNS had?
+AlphaKid no. I used blueprints of a real gun but not blueprints for paper 1911 like JOHNNYGUNS
+Goto Bad oh ok was it called m1911 redux? I've been wanting to start a project like this I've just never had the time. Maybe over Christmas break or something.

Im using this pdf its pretty nice brlcad.org/design/drafting/M1911-A1_REDUX.pdf
i can't think paper with elmers glue is that white. u may used other superglue or something to make it clear
+통통따리통통따 didnt use elmers glue on surfaces, only for gluing parts. Surface covered with superglue
Goto Bad thx
