smooth finish is result of smooth surfaces so lots of grinding sanding and polishing is needed. Paint is not so important in this case. Mine was usual black acrilic from hardware store. Dry brush silver after to immitate wearing
@@jamesgreen5711 due to very long working progress i don't make many guns. Now im working on desert eagle. It may take another year or so. Already have plans for SIG P220 but don't know if it will come true.

Деталі стають міцними просто від того, що містять в собі товстий бутерброд із бумаги і клею. При зовнішній обробці суперклеєм, деталь стає іще твердішою. Що до стінок магазину, то навіть товщини біля міліметра, (3-4 шари паперу) цілком достатньо.

@@GUS-bn1lg использую ватман А4, это бумага для черчения, она более толстая и плотная чем офисная бумага. Толщина листа ватмана 0,25 мм в сравнении с 0,05 мм офисной

it is not hardenet paper, you can´t see something like paper, it is steel, can you explain why the video has low volume? is so you do not hear the sound of the metal, the paper does not sound like that

What do you use to harden your paper? I use wood glue
i use local equvalent of elmers glue, think its pretty close to wood glue.

Нужно, чтобы картон находился под прессом до полного высыхания, я ложу его между страниц большой книги, на которую дополнительно еще груз.
