Same. This one hits home hard. He had an incredible way of giving you valuable information, and was humble, to the point and always respectful, with no ego whatsoever. RIP Ric.
I only just found out last night because I took a year off training due to injury, I've started up again yesterday, I clicked on rics corner and man this really does hurt like you said
I have rheumatoid arthritis I can't emphasize enough how much Ric got me going on many early mornings to get in the gym and keep my body strong! A true inspiration and will be missed. A heart is not judged by how ; but by how by others. ~Professor Marvel
What a sad day for me. Ric reopened the world of old school bodybuilding I've loved my entire life. In a sport that is sometimes populated with oily characters, your show was always a refreshing, honest and informative experience . THANK YOU RIC DRASIN! WHAT A LOSS!!
This actually brought tears to my eyes. I’ve been listening to Rick from the very beginning. I started training in the early 90’s loving Bodybuilding and training. That golden era was what made me fall in love with weight training. You will never be forgotten. RIP Rick 🙏🏻
Rip to ric, just found out about ric’s corner within a year ago, wish I would have found out about it earlier. Thanks for being so generous with your time, to give us all the priceless information you did.
I am genuinely gutted. I didnt start lifting until i was 48. So i looked on youtube for lifting advice for older people and Rics channel came up. I have followed him ever since. You could tell he was a good man and i will miss him on here. RIP Ric...
Ric Drasin passed away 1 year after Franco Columbo did. I began listening to Ric’s health and Bodybuilding videos that day. Hard to believe he is gone now. We love you Ric! Rest peacefully!
I felt like I lost a father when I found out. He is having fun in the gym with Rich Piana, for sure. They were good friends and they are in peace now! RIP legend.
weirdo. put that energy into your OWN father and family. video game playing geek - just looked at your channel. get your act together, kid and get off your fat ass and go to work.
@@mangocuriosity hey you dumb fuck, those lil videos are from 10 years ago if u didnt notice. My comment is a tribute, not anything else. You are a frustrated man and u need help.
Rich Piana brought me to your page 4 years ago ... I used to enjoy watching new content from both rich and ric. RIP the sport of bodybuilding lost 2 legends that millions will miss
His pharma allopathic ( allopathy= poisons) doctors treatment of wayfarin ( rat poison) killed Rick.. If Rick would have had an ozone doctor he would have lived into his 90s.. unfortunately Rick swallowed the koolaide and did statins too Cholesterol is good and is needed to rebuild the body. Watch cholesterol Tony pantelleresco ( ironically ,Tony was in the pumping iron documentary) Also watch RobertRowenMd channel to see a REAL DOCTOR.!!
The man did both worlds, BB & wrestling (as well as acting, musician, being an artist. . ) I owe a lot to what he did in his channel. Such a shock that he checked out . Still can't believe it. Farewell to one of the real down to earth individuals of the Golden era (and today) . RIP eerie trivia: He departed the same month/day that Franco did, last year.
I’ve been disconnected from bodybuilding for a while. I had no idea Ric died, I had to stop what I was doing and look it up. I wish it wasn’t true man.
Just found out Rick passed away...... Over the years i took interest in listening to rick and i can’t believe he’s gone. Rest in peace Rick Drasin, you will be sorely missed.
RIP... Knew he was in hospital; but didn’t expect this. Relatively young also. What a shame. Left a good damn legacy behind though. His channel was awesome. That video of Ric with Tom Platz a few weeks back was great.
Ric was the absolute best, hands down. Didn't matter who he had as a guest, nor what he talked about, once you tuned in, you were hooked for the rest of the program. And couldn't wait for the next. For a moment, you were back in time, a wonderful time. The only beef I had with Ric was that he could have done better if he had moved on from "Old School". So many painful injuries, I don't see how he made it through the day. You can see the pain in his face. Not long ago, I could barely stand from hip pain. Now I can easily run a mile - by upgrading my diet. Old School doesn't work so well for us old guys.
Ric spoke about his era with such passion, as a 21 year old it was fascinating to listen to. Loved watching rics channel over the years and was always delighted when he would take the effort to reply to any email I sent him. Real gentleman, will miss him 😔
Wow I can’t believe what I’m seeing right now I was a long time subscriber of Ric learned a lot from his videos on how to get lean I’m deeply saddened this is truly a heartbreaking day In bodybuilding Rest In Peace legend 🙏🏽🙏🏽😢😢
I’m very sadden to see this. He was such an incredible guy. He was nice enough to invite me on the show and we spent the evening hanging out together. I’ll miss him dearly. So sad.
Watched all his training videos where Ric featured Doug Brignole, John Heart, Jerry Brainum. Benefited me greatly. I hope they stay on RUclips so others can learn. I will miss him tremendously. A legend. RIP Ric.
Ric’s Corner - simply the best golden era bodybuilding channel. Just wish Arnold came along with Franco that day for the interview. Arnold doesn’t have too many old training partners left. Rest In Peace Ric🙏🏻❤️
I just watched an episode of Man From Atlantis episode season 1 episode 5. Ric was a big guy like many of us old bodybuilders. Miss your show Ric. I miss Ken Kuntz as well. The Gold’s and World Gym logos are great reminders of his talent.
This missing connections has happened to me twice BBK, RIck! If you want to see or contact someone you admire Do it time waits for no one! RIC you were a positive stable person! Very rare today! Mu
When I saw him last year he looked frail.. his health was going ... I was so happy to see he bounced back!!! Then the shocking news. Everybody liked him..
Nooo. Personally I feel sad and think that without this legends. The the sport of bodybuilding is going to decline. When I see this it tells me that the sport of bodybuilding is like a Temple and It losing its pillars. And now have lost one of its main pillars that hold it together. Only few more pillars left(Arnold,Ronnie,Cutler,Flex,Dorian) A great lose to the Bodybuilding Community especially the golden era days RIP Ric. Bodybuilding will never be the same as before
How sad!!!! Ric's Corner was a great channel. And he seemed like a great guy. His health had been clearly getting worse the last two years, but he played it off. Probably years of dianabol contributed to kidney damage, which I don't bring up to besmirch his memory, but to remind everyone that nothing is free. RIP.
I wasn't happy when I heard about Rich Piana, I do appreciate his talent at marketing himself, I got a bit of a kick out of him and he was a monster whatever it took. However, even though I've never met Ric (who was featured in an article in the 1st Muscle mag I ever read, ironically), I feel an honest sadness I guess because he was such an obviously down to earth, decent guy (even after he was exposed 1st hand to the prototypes of several of the most bizarre industries of the last 100yrs)when he could've went in the completely opposite direction as many of his contemporaries have. Besides the fact that he really knew what he was talking about, which I know because at just over 10yrs his Jr, I've been around the Gym/Nutrition/Fitness Industries myself for 4+ decades. RIP to a very decent guy, as well as 1 of the few who definitely knew his ass from a hole in the ground. 💪🙏
I remembered him talking about Rich piano dieing , then next I heard he died . He sounded wore out tired starting off this video , kinda wondered if he had an illness then . Then he started pepping up through the interview talking about wrestling . He was a Good guy 👍
This one really hurts. I loved watching Ric and listening to his stories from the Golden Era. RIP Ric.
Same. This one hits home hard. He had an incredible way of giving you valuable information, and was humble, to the point and always respectful, with no ego whatsoever. RIP Ric.
F#ck Archie Drasin! We in the middle of a PANDEMIC and on the verge of a very important Election. Archie Drasin is lawn mulch now

Ric had something many bodybuilders lack. Personality and intellect. RIP Mr. Drasin.
RIP Mr. Excitement
RIP Ric thanks for sharing all your knowledge about golden era bodybuilding and wrestling I’m going to miss Rics Corner!
Rest easy Ric you will always be a Golden Era Legend.

This and Leroy Colbert’s death bummed me out badly. So much interesting stories and amazing tips/advice.
I’ve watched 95% off Ric’s corner. Loved this guy. Gives you hope as you age. Such a young spirit with a razor sharp mind.
RIP Ric.
Rip to ric, just found out about ric’s corner within a year ago, wish I would have found out about it earlier. Thanks for being so generous with your time, to give us all the priceless information you did.
all those videos are still up
Hell of a guy...loved his dry humor & love his vids about the 70's 80's era of Bodybuilding..
Ric passed? No! No! Hell no!!!!
I am genuinely gutted. I didnt start lifting until i was 48. So i looked on youtube for lifting advice for older people and Rics channel came up. I have followed him ever since. You could tell he was a good man and i will miss him on here. RIP Ric...
How did i just find out today. Life passes you by so damn fast. The guy was sharpest 76 year old on the planet. RIP Ric Drasin :(
I’ll miss his thoughtful, wholesome, common sense channel. RIP brother
He's the equalizer baby... the man... the myth... the legend!! 😔😔

RIP Mr. Drasin...your videos are golden!
Ric's corner without Ric, it's a sad day, thanks for the memories Ric.
Ric Drasin passed away 1 year after Franco Columbo did. I began listening to Ric’s health and Bodybuilding videos that day. Hard to believe he is gone now. We love you Ric! Rest peacefully!
So sad and I never got to get a hand drawn folds gym piece. RIP legend
Same I regret that always just felt like i would get it later once I had more money @marco farella art
Ric was one of our last connections to the golden era of bodybuilding. Always appreciated how he kept the memories alive. RIP big guy. ❤️
Always enjoyed watching Ric's show, there will never be another guy like him.
I bet you wishing you had done a longer interview with Ric but too late now... Ric was a great guy

Wtf wtf RIP Ric. Jumped on his yt channel ages ago. Thought he'd live into his 90s. What a bummer. 2020 is screwing with us.

What a great man Ric was.
Loved this guy! Rest in peace my iron brother. You understood life was all about balance
God I miss Ric already.....
The biggest straight shooter and truthful person in the bodybuilding & wrestling world.
LOVE RIC !

I have learned so much from Ric's channel. I considered him like my grandpa who gave me lifting advises. I am going to miss his updates
Than you vilad for sharing this of Ric. He will be always honored. 💔😢

10:32 So true. People were actual “individuals” back then. Now bodybuilders, not all but most, all look the same. They even sound the same.
LEGEND!
I’m very sadden to see this. He was such an incredible guy. He was nice enough to invite me on the show and we spent the evening hanging out together. I’ll miss him dearly. So sad.
Arnies training partner who wanted a collaboration with him but arnie isn't humble enough to go there
A shame Arnold never went on Rics show.
Arnie is a vane clown.
Franco was at the show it would have been great if Arnold would have joined.
Arnold to full of himself to be on Ric's show.
@Fred Tedason i didnt here that
Watched all his training videos where Ric featured Doug Brignole, John Heart, Jerry Brainum. Benefited me greatly. I hope they stay on RUclips so others can learn. I will miss him tremendously. A legend. RIP Ric.

That was to short an interview. Ric wanted to chat for at least another 20 minutes. Generation iron needs to improve in many ways.
I always enjoyed Ric's videos and have learned a lot from his sage advise. He will be missed.
Nice piece Vlad.
I usually give you a hard time for your Mike O'Hairpiece pandering, but this was solid.

Omg he seemed so healthy. Cant believe it because he was so sad and critical about other bodybuilders who got sick or died of steroids.
