I’ve been around since the old man in the hellcat. I’ve watched you channel grow my dude and I’ve enjoyed a lot of your content. Especially through Covid. It’s great man, and don’t think I doubt keep a lookout for your videos still.
But I’m genuinely worried about this new content you’re posting now. And this is constructive criticism, I am in no means bashing you or your channel.
The content nowadays is bland man. I feel like it’s drug out and boring. It’s not funny and engaging like it used to be. The days of abusing the Miata, the days with Harry and Doug, the clickbait that was not actually click bait, that stuff was cool as hell. And I’m not saying Harry or Doug or even Poe made your channel cause they didnt. It was the genuine fun you had making content. Nowadays I just feel like it’s more revenue for you now than you having fun.
Now we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors and I don’t think we need to know, I just hope you’re doing alright dude and you’re having fun making these videos while at the same time making a living for you and your enterprise and employees. They’ve followed you around for a real long time, their good guys.
I just feel like the days of doing installations and mods on your cars need to come back instead of outsourcing it to dealers or other specialty shops, doing crazy shit that we ain’t got the money or time to do to our own cars need to come back, the personal shop interactions with the other itsjusta6 guys, the jokes, the laughter, the pure fun needs to come back.
To sum it up, I feel like most videos you’ve posted are PowerPoint presentations of your plans, buying a car, seeing it float in the back ground until you sell it for another one, then getting that one and getting it send off to be fitted for turbos, dyno runs, etc only for it to sit in the background again.
I love your channel and you as a person dude. Your the pinnacle of hard work and hustle. You encouraged me to start my own side hustle. I just don’t want you to lose who you are or what you’ve made. Much love, hope you see this.
This is honestly a super helpful comment! I appreciate hearing all of these points. I myself can agree and have noticed a lot of the same things. Uploads have slowed simply because I don’t like to upload bland content. This year I’ve been putting a LOT in place that you’ll find out about soon enough to make things just how they used to be. I need to bring fun back into making videos for sure, it just hasn’t been there with stress of not feeling like we have a “home base” for videos. No longer will that be the case though! Stay tuned.
