    thanks for the video - I've just got the same mic although mine doesn't have the on/off switch. Got the same humming problem, so need to check my cable as well - have you tried the hi/low impedance switch on the back - the low setting (on some models noted as 'N' ) that should allow you more gain, as well as allowing to use a longer cable, while being also the correct resistance for an XLR plug?

      Thanks! Ok, hope you fix it. I tried the imp. Switch. The difference is minimal on mine. I have it on the highest output even if my cable is short.
