Very detailed and superrrr helpful. Thank you for putting this together ❤️ my son who is now 2.5y is still playing with the stacking cups everyday when we take bath!

Love the detailed overview ! For us 2-3 was just have! I did a comparison with all the dupes and it just made sense to purchase that one year subscription. 90% of the items we've used now with 3 kids!

Thanks for this detailed overview! I do feel that Lovevery really shines after age 2. Like reasonable people can quibble about how attractive individual toys or playkits are and maybe it depends on your child. among people who use lovevery I think, for example, the felt flowers seem very controversial. Some kids LOVE it and some kids don’t care at all. But overall, the toys get more unique at the older ages.
Baby toys are about the same and you can find dupes for a lot of them. But for older kids, I can’t find anything on the market that combines quality, fun and educational value in quite the same way. Even if I decide to skip the playkit I still pick out individual toys to get on the aftermarket. Every kit has something to offer

It’s definitely much harder to find dupes for the older kits. Lovevery really does put their effort in making unique experiences that help guide our children along.

My 7 week old loves the black and white ball in the play gym. We only got it yesterday, so I have high hopes for the next few years of it. I can only see myself getting one box per age range, so this video is super helpful

Super helpful! Out of the kits in the first 12 months we’ve only purchased the sensor and thinker is coming up next for us. We also have the playmat that covered many of the early months.
Interesting that you found so much value in the Explorer. We skipped that one because it has a version of many toys we already own (cups, stacking tower). If you didn’t already have these I could see it being worth it but many people on other forums also said this is a skippable one. Looking forward to getting into the 1-2 year kits!

Love the video! I’m wondering if any of the books from 0-8 months are worth getting? Are there any other books in particular you’d recommend for the first year?

The books aren’t bad for the first year and still get plenty of attention but the books after year 1 just seem better since the child starts to understand more and more.
Personally I really liked the My First Sign book. It’s one of the better sign language books out there. Both my children loved it and helped us teach them simple sign language.

It's soo interesting hearing this review and what your kids still play with. Idk if it's due to my kid being special needs or just preference, but he has completely opposite preference to your kids lol. He's 3 now and still absolutely loves most of the realist kit. Meanwhile, the companion was a complete flop, other than the animals and their cards.

Just got the Companion last week and so far, my son looks to be like yours. The Realist kit was a blast but I got it slightly late as I was debating the price of the kits so maybe it's a point to wait a little bit more.

Great review. I agree with a lot you said. We have tried up to the observer. I definitely agree about the Explorer and the Babbler. We rotate too and I was surprised my daughter still loves playing with toys from the younger kits even after the age of 2. The Thinker was least played with, she mastered it early. I’m reluctant to purchase the storyteller as it looks boring and ugly the only think I would want is the mop 😅.
