Yes, it's worth it. My baby girl loves hers and spends so so much time in the gym. The added dangly thing is her favorite, and at 9 months she's really only just getting interested in the outer sections so it still entertains her daily. We haven't put the tent on it yet. My only complaint is that the type of fabric used picks up everything (lint, pet hair, dirt) so it needs to be washed quite a bit, which lessens how stiff the picture corner is and so it falls back a lot.
I have noticed it collects some hair and lint but I guess the silver lining is that this ensures I wash it often enough 😅. My daughter only cares about the sound zone right now although the learn to focus was great for tummy time when she was 1-2 months old. I haven’t had to deal with the arches coming loose yet since my daughter is Molly stationary at the moment.
Happy I added it to my registry. We didn’t get this with our first daughter, but we got the play kits until she turned 2. I wanted to try the gym but wasn’t really sure about it as we kind of recreated it ourselves. I heard if you have pets it collects hair pretty easily. I guess I’ll have to see as I have a pretty affectionate cat. 😂 I love your reviews!
I do have 3 dogs but we keep the play gym in an area that’s behind a baby gate so the dogs can’t get to it, so we don’t have to worry too much. Cleaning is fairly easy though as you can use it in a washer and dryer on low settings. I’m glad you’re enjoying my reviews!
Congrats on the new addition to the family. Great Video!! Wish I has seen the details of this mat before. My baby is also 5 months . Now that my baby is 5 months I Cant see paying for now since soon she will sit and start to crawl.
At 5 months old it’s borderline. My daughter still have used it to it’s full potential yet. Maybe check out secondhand markets. I’ve heard of people getting them for like $60!
Hi, Kevin! We bought the play gym as it really looks promising and long lasting. Unfortunately my almost 2 months old doesn't like it so far. He cries every time I lay him down on his back under the arches to look at the contrast cards. I don't think he likes to lay down. Did you have similar issues? What helped? Thanks!
Kevin, are you considering doing a review of the block set from lovevery? It looks beautiful but I'm not sure if it's as practical as a bigger wooden block set. Thanks!
The silicone teether in the hid and seek can be removed, the strap has Velcro around the ring. Yes we now have duplicate (similar) balls and rings. I’d hate for them to remove them from other kits just so parents have to buy the play gym to get them smh but knowing lovevery they would do that 🙄 my son really enjoyed the wooden clacker that hangs that was his favorite part of the gym
Ohh i had no idea you could remove that teether in the hide and seek! Thanks for the tip! I can see why you son likes that clacker toy. They usually like making loud noises 😂

Also the wooden arms are very sturdy and getting loads of abuse, which does sometimes detach the mat from the arms, but it's not a big deal.

Didn't have it with my first, but my friend loved it so much with her baby she bought it as a gift for me for my second! Really excited to use it!
Hope your little one enjoys it! My little girl is enjoying her tummy time on it.
Didn’t get it with our first but helpful to hear for baby #2 as we were strongly considering it. I have alerts for any local secondhand listings.
The ones in my Facebook market area I’ve seen a couple $80-90 which isn’t too bad.
Is it appropriate for a newborn ? What age would you recommend buying it at?

I do plan to review it but we've had so much new stuff for my son to intersect with we haven't introduced it to him yet. I do have it already through.
@@kevin-lu cool!
