I saw so many people saying the same things I would have said or felt hearing Thick44/Tony was no longer with us. Because of that I wasn't sure what should be said or what could I say. So I thought I'd share some of my interactions with him and the Battlefield Friends. At the BF1 EA Play event there were so many people around them all the time it was hard to jump into any sort of conversation but at Gamescom for BFV I had a chance to walk and talk with Thick on the way to the convention center. In a somewhat failed attempt to not completely fanboy out I brought up the topic of Battlefield Friends and if they were going to be able to produce them again or if Machinima/Machinima Respawn were still going to prevent that from happening ( remember this was back before BFV's launch, so a while ago ). Success, with our shared hatred for Machinima Respawn we started talking for a while and he explained their side of things and we eventually talked about past Battlefield games as well as gaming in general. Through him I eventually got to meet the rest of the Battlefield Friends and they were awesome but Thick was the first one I got to know. I say "know" but I didn't meet them that many times so I can't say I really know everything about him. However I do know one thing, he was great at telling stories and he had so many to share. Along with those stories I learned how much he cared about his daughters, he was a pretty amazing dad for them.
I'll miss him.
Like I mentioned in the previous video this should be the last of the pre-class update footage. Now I'll try to get through that before Season 4 releases.

I'm always impressed by Ravic's consistency when aiming, He makes it look very easy.
Too many years of practice
You only have to follow these 3 steps to become someone like him
Step 1: Use 1m/360° sensitivity and 73.739795 fov aka the OG tryhard config
Step 2: Throw your mouse across the room to aim
Step 3: Upload your clips and pin the guy who calls you a cheater
@@zerophoenix8312 I'm using very similar steps. But, so I don't lose my mouse, I have cheese graders placed at strategic points around my mouse pad to prevent overthrowing.

@@zerophoenix8312 If you think Ravic is playing at 100cms/360 then you are so wrong. I am a decently good BF sniper trying to become better and I have been watching his streams for months trying to guess his sens as he never shares it.
He is running somewhere between 40-45cms/360. He is also running an Artisan Zero XL Soft mousepad which is 49 cms wide. So it is highly unlikely that he is running anything more than 49 cms/360. Most FPS players don't like to run a cms/360 that is larger than the width of their mousepads. I also know by interacting with him on Twitch that he is running his mouse at 1600 DPI.
His friend Musick, who is an amazing BF player too is also running the same mousepad and is running a 49 cms/360 sens. You can tell by how Ravic moves his mouse in game versus how Musick moves his mouse that Ravic is not running a sens as slow as 49cms/360.
Oh and both of them don't run Uniform Solider Aiming ON. They both are running USA Off. They say they do this because not all FPS games have USA like feature built in.
I personally run a 35cms/360 in BF2042 but you lose a lot of fine tracking control by running that fast. 35cms/360 is super handy for CQC gunfights though and a lot of AR/SMG players run close to that.
So my guessed range for Ravic's sens is somewhere between 40 to 45 cms/360. At this sens, he has a lot of practice tracking targets smoothly which only comes with years of playing Battlefield and other FPS games.
Unless he shares his sens with the community himself or someone makes an AI software which can calculate his sens using tracking his aim through video analysis, we will never know the exact value.

1:45 - Never uses a heli, never uses a tow on this game because it's literally broken, but manages to hit a flying jet anyways.
I didn't knew Tony personally but you could see that he was an amazing guy, tell a lot of stories on streams when he was on, a guy that help to create what Neebs Gaming is today. R.I.P. Tony.

I tried doing this after your other Rosch gameplay and boy do you make it look easy, makes you feel like you can quickly jump in a match and do the same but it's very hard.
It's actually unbelievable watching this footage, I've been watching raving for four to five years and it's so fucking insane how good he is no matter how many times it's been said

I'm just surprised those being disabled actually stopped the jet from moving or turning. Anytime that has happened in the helicopters or tanks they are still able to move and turn. I'm guessing it's because the vehicle was empty for enough time to consider it "stopped" that when I got in it had enough time to apply the disabling mechanic. Seems silly to be in the game since it doesn't really work like it did in previous Battlefield games or in any way that makes sense.
@@Ravic The engine may have stalled as well. I found if you slow down to a certain amount and distance from the ground it tried to "land" with the wheels and drops like a rock about 10 feet from the ground under 20ish mph
I can't wait to see his nerft footage which is running support without sensors or rockets like i have seen in his other videos because this is before classes 🤣
I mean I pretty much stopped using Liz a long time ago or around the time Zain became available so I haven't been using a rocket for quite some time. Not much else is different though except now I have defibs to kill with.

I've been watching these vids since BF4, and I gotta say, we need to get more people active in chat nowadays. It sucks that the servers aren't persistent so you can't form those 7 match in a row rivalries with someone on the enemy team anymore.

at 0:47 the reason why you can't pitch up/down its because the wing of the jet is damage because it hit the tower..

On the point of Jet / Heli speeds, well he was turning nonetheless, but they could have buffed choppers to fly faster since they reduced their height limit, haven't read or seen anything changed so far

Ravic why do I feel like you got the Tier 1 skin for all the planes and helicopters just by sniping the pilots out and take theirs.
I tend to either hold on to the vehicle asset to annoy the enemy team or screw around with the vehicles I steal and do stupid stuff like roadkilling players, etc. which sometimes works out but most of the time ends in firey explosions. If I had actually been using the choppers/aircraft I stole as other players use them in BF2042 then yes I would have Tier 1 skinned them but since I find those vehicles incredibly OP compared to previous versions I just can't take using them seriously. With a full crew in a Blackhawk in BC2 on certain Rush maps you can sometimes replicate the high k/d scores but in BF3 and BF4 they weren't anywhere close to this kind of absurdity.

@@Ravic if you don't mind me asking... why? What advantage does it give you to go against the normal keyboard layouts?
@@chrishood8522 It was something I got used to a long time ago when I was swapping back and forth between WoW and BF2. I needed more keybinds on the left side and my fingers are long enough that it didn't feel uncomfortable. However I don't recommend it because developers still like to hardcode keybinds/functions to WASD regardless of the player's actual keybinds so you'll lose functionality in some games or might not be able to perform certain actions because of it or stuff just gets annoying. There doesn't appear to be a strong "how it should be designed" in this regard to game design ( even though it should be plainly obvious ) so it's not something I recommend because it can cause issues for users unfamiliar with those possibilities.
@Ravic That's actually so interesting. I've seen only one other person use those keys before for movement and he used the explanation of, "I just want to be a bit outside the norm." So I just figured I'd ask out of pure curiosity. Thank you for telling me!

Attack chopper is prob to fast. idk though, there is something fundamentaly weird about flying jets in bf2042, the maps feel so small compared to bf4/bf3 even though they should feel bigger, it feels so inclosed flyinb but i can't put my finger on why.

The AGMs or vehicle lock-ons in this game seem to either lock too fast or are off cooldown too fast. I remember it taking longer to take out ground vehicles with those in BF3. I wonder if it's just an escalation from all the things given to vehicles now.
@@Ravic true, and ir smokes reload faster then stuff has self reps. Bf4 aa heatseakers were just a meme, just zuni the helo on e and brrrrt the rest of it while its mobility damaged. But still i think this guy would have better chance to kill u with main cannons than the heatseakers on the vid
@@Hulivilivoo Probably would have, not sure why he was missing with the cannons so much unless the turret got disabled at some point which is something else that is dumb. Aircraft, tanks, and vehicles don't need so many gadgets, weapons, counter measures, features to be powerful. Now there are so many things it takes certain conditions and a full moon to kill something as it was intended.

he has another video posted about testing ammo/med crates in front of the driver, can act as a shield for 1-2 bullets. Also resupply/healing for passengers
@@11PhinPhan No longer resupplies passengers. According to DICE that was a 'bug' that they fixed, despite it being in practically every BF title before hand.
